  • @OmarZaki

    Try to think about getting a tight tuck when you are doing your flip. Make sure not to over-rotate, but the more you practice it, the more you will be able to control your tuck.

    Do you find this style easier than russian fronts? These have always given me more difficulty than the russian style.

  • @OmarZaki

    @OmarZaki

    9 жыл бұрын

    I personally do find this easier than Russian flips. I think the concept is easier to understand and most people who have already done frontflips anywhere in their life (into a swimming pool or trampoline) probably would have done it this way. in my opinion, the Russian front is an advanced form of the frontflip

    How many steps should i take before flip ? I really beginner and my jump is low.

  • @OmarZaki

    @OmarZaki

    6 жыл бұрын

    I like to take atleast 5 or 6 steps just to make sure I have enough speed. Make sure you're NOT running as fast as you can. You want to have some speed, but don't sprint haha. It's important to learn how to convert your running speed into height and rotation for your flip. You do this by being able to control your speed. So really make sure to practice running into the PUNCH and practice jumping up with your arms above your head and try not to travel far when you do this jump.

    2 жыл бұрын

    Thank you so much! I hope it helps. I landed on my tailbone for a few weeks before I started landing really bad but on my feet. I'd recommend trying the front flip in as many different scenarios as possible such as flipping up onto mattresses, flipping down into a swimming pool, doing a diving somersault over some pillows or something. The more ways you try it, the more your body and brain will work and learn about the front flip and you will have a better chance at mastering it
