Saving your video because we finally have enough zucchini to freeze. Love that you clearly demonstrate both ways --- shred & no blanch plus slice & blanch. I absolutely love your voice --- it's musical.

I put in my first garden this year since I was young and my dad and I used to garden. I made the error of planting toooo many zucchini plants and now I have so many I having trouble giving them away. So I went to KZread to figure out how not to waste them. Your video is the first one I’ve watched and I want to say thank you. Your demonstration was very insightful and helpful. I will now be able to freeze the mass quantities of zucchini for later this winter when we are craving stir fry, bread, fritters, soups, and many more recipes I have acquired. Thank you again and happy gardening.

Zucchini can get away from you...there is a saying around here in the summer "don't leave your doors unlocked on your car, someone will give you zucchini" HaHa I am so glad I was able to help out. Hopefully you are enjoying all your produce this winter!

What do you think about putting a cupful in a snack bag, after you freeze them , putting the snack bag in a freezer bag, grab a bag and go when you need them??

I have been using mine for a year +. My plants did not come up this year so I am still using what I have frozen. I have only used the shreds lately, but they were still not freezer burnt!

Just wondering why we can't steam squash for 2 min since it takes about 10 to 12 minutes to cook it whether it's boiling or steaming...Can't find anyone that's done that Just wondered if it would work

That’s a great idea. Plan to try steaming, ice bath, and then freeze them

sound is terrible. chopping is louder and your voice fades in and out.
