    Really great video, I always appreciate how you can adjust your close ups so we can really see how the metal moves. Also... Sam sitting motionless while you run around at super speed was hilarious

    That's a hug hammer to swing. That'll tire out even Paul Bunion. Lol Wasn't able to hear Joe last night. Ended up fast forwarding through it to see if it cleared up. Ended up way past the interview. Thanks Alec for doing all the massive video work.

    for folks who haven't got the frame of reference on how much arm strength Alec has, forging a twelve pound sledge is like flipping around a gallon jug of milk with tongs. only it'll burn you for mistakes.

    Curious, what advantages does a hand forged hammer have over a store-bought mass produced one? Besides the obvious: esthetics and authenticity. I.e. does the metal have better properties? Stronger?

    Fullering moves metal to where you need it with maximum metal displacement with minimum distortion to the work piece.

    It seems that the floor around the machines need to be lowered or machines raised? I bet you would be less of an awkward angle I know you're young but seeing you crouch around like that hurts my back LOL
