There's like... no quest/journal to tell you on side quests, you gotta figure it out for yourself x.x I just got dark souls 3 as well. But Elden Ring has been a big challenge for me and I'm starting to appreciate these types of games. I recently though, I have finished Hollow Knight I'm sure I'll be okay with Elden Ring!

Thank you, I went and got loads of stuff as a start of build and made the bad mistake of unlocking graces along the way which messed up my map and I have now followed the wrong route and now that has led me to a lot of confusion as I haven’t done a full playthough yet

Currently on NG+2 to get the Lord of Frenzied Flame ending and with it, the last achievement I need to get them all. Just looking to bullrush the main story for the ending and then make NG+4 my character's "home", in which I will try and defeat every single boss and unlock every Site of Grace. Big endeavor but I still have 4 months to get there before Shadow of the Erdtree drops. This video basically just lets me speedrun this playthrough. Already beat Morgott and am now ready to go to the Mountaintop of the Giants and I did it in like 2 hours so thanks a lot

I'm currently planning on recording a "definitive run" of the game with a Batman build. Because to find this stuff out on your own you basically have to act as a detective 😂 I think it'll be pretry neat, but scripting all the clues and stuff in a cinematic way is gonna ve tough. Also meine größte Kritik an de Game ist die mangelhafte Storyline (kommt jetzt bitte nicht mit Lore oder sowas, jeder der keinHardliner ist weiß, dass die Story Bosse plattmachen und Elden Lord werden ist...^^)...und in so einer großen Welt die Repitivität...ja riesige Welt und Bosse bis zum umfallen aber sehr vieles ist einfach verdammt ähnlich, hinsichtlich Gegner als auch Landscape & Dungeons...trotzdem Top Game aber bei mir wäre es eine 8,5/10

This is the main route. For other endings you would have to do ranni, fia, dung eater, corhyn, or Millicent quests

No hate to you bro, but I just don't understand how they expect us to follow the main quest. Like how are we supposed to find these things on our own? I've been running around like a headless chicken for 24 hours and still only progressed up to getting my horse. I love this game, just a bit angry that there isn't a solid guide point yk.

Same I'm already 100+lvl with good stats and equip, but I did all that watching youtube videos, love this game but on my own most of the time I have no clue what a storyline is and where to go to make some progress, I just started to kill random bosses that I find, but I guess that might be a problem later If I want to get to some ending in this game, so yeah at least little window with quest guide would be very helpful for me :)

@@JonnyTheRevelator Yessss same, I've levelled up a ton, fought various bosses and have explored the majority of the map (all from KZread). Yet I'm still clueless to what is supposed to be happening. Yes exploring the world, meeting new npc's, fighting enemies and levelling up is fun. But it just gets to the point where I get bored because I want to see the story of the game. So yeah a guide would be very much appreciated.

If you guys are new to souls franchise, the story is always vague as is a lot of other things. The focus is on the gameplay the most and figuring out bits of the story and other aspects should feel like a reward through exploration and doing quest lines. Fromsoft doesn’t hold your hand in these games which makes it the most enjoyable and unique imo

You will need to unlock and access the round table area before you can get into the capitol. If not it will say you need more great runes and there will be a barrier after the tree sentinel.

As I’ve shown in the video, if you killed godrick and renalla before that area, that barrier won’t be there

@@Joy___ I killed Godrick and Renalla before that and it was blocked. You have to have access to the round table before it opens. I skipped getting the horse and the invitation to round table so all I had to do was that and once at the round table is accessible the barrier opened.

@@Joy___ No, when you beat the game and are in New Game Plus you already have the horse at the start. That’s why I didn’t go get it like you would in the first play through.

You have to explore more and if you see a light on your map that’s another map to unclock certain spots on the map

I think this is ome of the few things that could have been done better with this game. I know it kind of encourages exploration but it also kind of ruins the story at the same time.

I’m a level 700. I had no idea how to beat the game. I have 200 hours in. I have a job and kids so I’m not if average live in my parents basement loser Elden ring geek. Thanks bro. I love video games, but I don’t have time to be a 40 year old virgin making $50,000 a year. I didn’t go to college, but I don’t work at McDonald’s and make $17/hr and live off mommy either. This game is a real scam, but I have to beat it now. I haven’t died in forever, but I was running in circles

You know something is wrong with the game, when even the main quest line has to be so unnecessarily cryptic, that people need a KZread guide like this to know WFT is going on. It's almost as if quest logs exist in most open world RPGs for a very good reason, but no, Elder Ring developers expect you to pause the game, put down the controller, and start writing everything every NPC tells you on a piece of paper. Then again, as any toxic Dark Soul gatekeeping elitistic fanboy with a micropenis would tell you, his favorite video games can do no wrong, you need to "git gud."

The map sucks.
