How to fold self locking origami gift bag (Makoto Yamaguchi)
Bordered origami bag designed by Makoto Yamaguchi. I used a 15cm x 15cm gift wrap paper from Oliver Bonas. The finished size is about 6.5cm x 6.5cm. This cute self locking gift bag is perfect for little present.

I've done a lot of origami, including boxes. But this one is beautiful not only in the result, especially the folds are sheer delight.

I don’t have a 15 x 15 cm origami paper , so i was wondering if I could use a 16 x 16 cm origami paper?

Yes you can use any square for this gift bag
This is very underrated
Beautiful! Thanks for this tutorial :) I tried and kinda got there, but I got stuck in the end... I cannot give that lovely trapezoidal shape you have, mine remained rectangular and I can't understand what I'm missing! :(

you have to fold it triangularly on the sides
So nice
Great
Hola 🙋, podrías explicar con voz los pasos a seguir o subtitularlos??? Adiós 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
but how does it naturally stick?
What type of paper do you use? It seems stiff and thick? Very interesting and challenging. Thank you.

Per the description, they used gift wrapping paper. Not sure where it's from, didn't recognize the name. If I had to guess it was cut into a 15cmx15cm square before the video. Hope this helps!

Hi the one in red in the photo is gift wrapping paper, the other one is Chiyogami paper by Clairefontaine
Apparently I’m the only one who is using regular origami paper. It was too thin. Results were underwhelming.
How is your bias in bts
Plz try to increase speed of your videos
@andreablack6892
Жыл бұрын
Why? You can change the speed in your device
it doesn't work for me 😭😭
Not clear actually...it would be better if you could give the instructions orally
Sorry to criticise here but this demonstration is flawed because it needs a spoken commentary to describe what is going on when the operator's fingers are obscured inside corner folds with very fiddly manipulation. Also a 145mm square Origami paper gets too small and multi folded to enable the corners to fold over and stay that way. Just far too stiff to shape it well. I gave up on this one

Maybe try slowing the video down? I watched it at 1.75x speed and had no trouble seeing each of the steps
