Thank you so much for this video! I grew up in a hoarding situation and didn’t have the space to properly organize my clothes, I just had to throw them into a big pile on the floor and then sift through it later. At 19 years old I’m free from that house and organizing my clothes into drawers without just shoving them in for the first time. I’m trying to learn how to do all this adult stuff right. Recently I learned how to wash dishes and I’ve gotten somewhat familiar with cooking actual food. I also cleaned my entire apartment the other day. Thank you for being a part of my journey to healthy independent living.

@@theeternallie305 I literally just said I grew up in a really bad situation. I tried to learn how to wash dishes, but I wasn’t allowed. My mom would just yell at me if I tried. I wasn’t allowed near anything that could be considered a chore, and she didn’t do them either, or anything other then hoard for that matter. I’m being completely serious when I say there was black mold seeping out of the air vents and after being away for over a year I still have severe health problems from it. I cannot express enough how abusive she is and how glad I am that I’ve escaped her. My living situation as of typing this is still shit but it’s a lot better. The least you could do is not judge. You have no idea what others have been through. What’s basic to you could be a miracle to others.

2019-2020 Update: 2.0.19 3 Patches fixed. Clothes folding glitch patched due to complaints. Molten Mercury glitch patched. Water filtration bug fixed due to being exploited and complained by water companies.

I can honestly say I had no idea how to fold laundry. Now I actually enjoy doing it ….Thank you so much

I actually prefer method two because method one can be inaccurate and uneven. You have to pinch (grabbing both sides of the shirt but not what is underneath) directly in the middle point of the shirt, and try to keep all the other points in line. It’s harder where method 2 you only need to get that initial lengthwise fold to be straight and even. Also, both methods don’t work too well with long sleeve shirts. I actually a piece of 10x14 cardboard to fold those the traditional way (that looks the same in the end).

Lol, I'm still trying the third one, but i drove my wife mad with the mess! Awesome! Thank you, guys!

A really important step in fold 1 is to make sure you take your Arm at point A, under the arm at point B to reach point C, otherwise you’re gonna keep thinking why your shirt is backwards!

I actually have understood a philosophical and a Piagetian idea while trying to fold the shirt using the second method and that is morality arises as something procedural that we learn by watching other people do through body movements (body movements in this context means the behaviors and actions you are doing while playing a game for example) and then we try to map such movements onto our body, but that does not mean that we know the rule of the game abstractly. We first perform the behaviors with our body, then we have representational or abstract notion of such behaviors. In other words, morality is first embodied, then it is abstracted. In the video i first learnt how to do the folding by first mapping his hands movements onto my hand, and after i became perfect at it, i could build a representational or abstract description of what he did. You can say our knowledge structures are built on our embodied movements.

The magic fold interests me and the pinch fold always used the second method thanks. Is there a slow mo version of the magic fold? Gonna try the pinch fold, so far its not going well

I’ve watched department store people fold a tee shirt by holding the neck under their chin to fold it, and then they do a couple of flips, but I can’t find an illustration showing me how to do it. Do you know the folding technique I’m talking about? Can you help? Can you make a video for that kind of fold?

I know what you mean but regardless of what exactly that method is, it is similar to method #2 in this video. It is also much less efficient than method #2 in this video because here she doesn't have to bend and pinch with her neck/chin. I'd consider the method in this video to be the best way to fold t-shirts.
