Very well done gentlemen! English is not your 1st language, however you have made a very good video in English congratulations! I was worried when you took off that trim fin to access the last bolt holding on the lower unit in that you did not mark or index its position. But at the end you showed that the proper location for that trim was already marked by the manufacturer. and you are correct about always lubricating hardware in marine applications. Thank you!

This method does work, I've done it using Rydlyme on an old saltwater motor. It can be rough on the anodes so replace them too if you can.

@@wazup3333 Nice tought but i know guys that are certified honda dealer that are doing this for long time they had no problems..Neither did i im using it for 3 years now

grease the spline and you won't have to hit it so much to get the lower unit to drop

Hot water works only after one use.Chemicals work very well actually try it...

Never saw the shift shaft disconnected or mentioned. Please folks, do not follow this video for advice.

You do not disconnect the shift shaft on a Honda, it slides right out. Great video!
