I mean the game yes, but not this (flipping), even if you use the chair method and move correctly it doesn't work, quest doesn't track legs, just your hands and head.

Long dives and other things requiring you to be upside down for more than a few seconds would be uncomfortable because of the lack of counter force pushing the blood down and keeping things somewhat even so I think the spinnie chair or similar methods would work better

​ @Xavier H. Probably not. The only real lawsuit potential I can think of is if the harness system were released as a product. I kinda doubt it even then though because things such as "dancing" poles, pull up bars, and indoor swings are sold online and in stores. Those things are on the same relative danger level as a harness suspension system. Legal wumbo jumbo can put the blame of injury from "dangerous" products to the user. That being said, I doubt a product like a VR harness system has a big market, so it probably wouldn't get released as a product anyways. If something like that were to be made, it'd probably just be someone's passion project.

this has really upped my immersion. i would love to see somebody who's savvy with the SteamVR addon systems make a bindable horizon rotate tool. say, a button chord where you hold X/Y and use the joystick or maybe controller tilt to adjust torque and direction.

I seem to lose myself with this, I decided to inquire this method for myself. The flips while static in vrchat are quite simple, but my neck rends itself trying to remain level and parallel with the ground. However, upon attempting to swing, my mind loses itself upon flipping in the midst of air. My body losing all form of understanding as it spins. My method of swinging, helpless as my experience lacks the understanding required to swing in the different degrees, and gravity both in vrchat and physically, renders my mind void of understanding as a sideways force of gravity pushes my ribs firmly into the chair, and the application of gravity on my avatar shatters my brain in the execution flip, and I always meet the concrete ever so quickly. I will continue pursuit though, and find methods to fix my more physical issues, after all, with new discoveries, come further developments. Thank you for this collaboration of great minds uniting to create this spectacular method to recreate flips in the virtual world, bravo.

I know some people who just use wireless setups and do actual flips with the headset on. Though doing flips is hard enough normal but not being able to see around you while flipping makes its SOO much harder

ok so what is so good about fully body for this is that you dont look like some guy using invisible webs while falling (so bassicly in the game. idk if its fixed or whatever. if you fall from to high you look like you are falling and using invis webs making it not look as good. but with full body, flipping or not flipping you still look better because of that)

Yeah, full body definitely helps. Newer avatars don’t have the falling animation, so I’d say look for some new ones (I can’t remember if the Lair’s public avatars have the animation, maybe check there first!)
