I definitely agree with the mouse space required haha. I use 800 dpi and 20% sens in game. I basically flick with my arm. One tip I will give for new Oni players or anyone learning to flick is to not obsess with perfect 180s. A lot of Oni flicks are 100-150 degrees on certain tiles. I think it comes down to understanding the tiles, loop layouts and having eyes in the back of your head. Also keep note that certain tiles/loops are reeeeeally hard to flick around unless you have speed addons

ive grasped a way on doing flicks already but its never a 100 % guarantee i believe though this one may be more reliable Edit: Already so much better at flicks this tutorial is great despite being prestige 8 it helped me lots. I have also followed you on twitch, the more i watch you the more confident i really believe ill become

Tip for anyone trying to learn this in bot lobbies, equip No mither on all the bots so you spend less time getting your power, equip thanatophobia so they do gens slower, and deadlock of course for slower gens.

Funny this showed up in my recommended right after i just started to do prestige on Oni

Good quality!

Another way to explain how the flick works is once you're looking straight up (or just about) any extra effort spent looking up "unlocks" the sensitivity for your flick. So demon dash>look straight up>keep inching your mouse up>start your attack and quickly flick. It feels a lot like how hillbilly's sensitivity works while using the chainsaw, but in reverse. With this method I've been able to consistently 180 flick on 800 dpi with ingame sens around 50-60.

you just have to bigger hand movements while keeping the mouse on the pad. refer to 6:17 in the video where they’re showing flicks with 1000 dpi!

I came here to learn how to flick for a 90 degrees turn with oni because I've been trying for HOURS to no avail But that's apparently something so basic a guide about flicking just treats it as basic info "yeah you can normally turn 90 degrees, nbd"

Not sure I understand the frowning upon dpi switching. 180 flicks are not intended gameplay. BHVR already tried to fix it some time ago to limit it as 90. But it's DBD, and code isn't the greatest. I remember doing 360 spins

I honestly can't seem to get it. maybe because my sensitivity is low because I played a lot of shooters and low sens was kinda the go to. and I don't really want to change my sensitivity so my aim doesn't get bad in other games. my sens is more than enough for 2 360s...so it's probably enough and I move my mouse a lot....BUT I DON'T GET THE 180 I BEEN TRYING SINCE YESTERDAY WHICH IS FRUSTRATING. Edit : when I put my dpi to 2500, it works perfect.

i have dpi on 14300, its difficult to control then

I play 12.4K DPI (I'm a meanace, I know) so it's nice that I finally have something that actually is okay with the DPI.

also i see people flick their camera down instead of up to perform the 180. is that also possible?

probably not 180 but if you get used to looking up before flicking you may be able to do slightly greater than 90 degree flicks (on 100% sens)

In pc settings or whatever mouse brand you have should have a app that lets u edit it

I think with the current sensi its not possible if they higher the sensi for console with the normal/power sensi its gonna work
