Hairstyle for today is a flat twist up do or “shuku” like my Nigerian people call it! This was such a fun hairstyle that reminded me of my childhood and as an adult it’s a cute hairstyle to have!

Gurl! Don’t give up! The key is to keep practicing and being consistent! It’ll get better, I promise! Try twisting in different directions to see which feels more natural for you 🖤😁🙏🏽

You hair looks blow dried to me. Do you blow your freshly wash hair a bit so that it's easier to manipulate and part?

I have not blow dried my hair in YEARS! I’ve always let my hair air dry because that has worked better for me. Remember every one’s hair texture is different. My hair is easier to manipulate when damp.

@@khadijahwithah I understand everyones hair texture is unique, I don't blow dry either, wet hair is easier to manipulate for sure, I also do 8 twists, part my hair into 4 sections then each section into two. Perhaps I need to try 3 twists per section next time, thanks for your response!
