I tried this technique and used olive oil and OMG it came out great! I got a lot of compliments and a few people actually thought it was a weave. I was so proud to say "no it's my own" lol. The olive oil did the trick. I used shea moisture curl pudding, shea moisture leave in and olive oil and it helped with the frizz TREMENDOUSLY.

For Foster, I just wanted you to know I was skeptical about trying this because all of my twist outs had been an epic fail....but I did your technique on my 4C hair last night only exception I used coconut oil instead of olive oil.... and my hair came out beautifully! it's only 2pm and I've already had so many compliments....Thanks for sharing!

this is beautiful and amazing. I am forced to g completely natrual for good again because my hair just cant take relaxers anymore no matter what extreme measures i took to keep hair healthy. so i starting y transtition officially today without the big chop. this is a life saver. im better at cornrows than flat twist but i want to perfect that technique. unfortually my hair never comes out this good when i do two strand twist or braids :-( but practice makes perfect i guess....i like your minimal use of products. i already use blueberry bliss and EVO i will definatly try the curling cream. thanks
