AND fortunately you said/wrote "first boot takes longer". This helped sooo much (as I was nervously pushing all buttons the first time and nothing happened). So I flashed again, booted again AND waited 5 min - and now I have a perfect EU-mobile :)

youre amazing. thank you, i was able to flash it and everything is working. quick note: after you flash and it reboots, you first get a page that says "your device is locked" and it has you enter your wifi and MIUI password to activate it. Thats what it said for me. Just wanted to point it out. After i did this, it started setup.

Great Video. I'm in the process changing from ROM from India to EU. I've downloaded the flashboot file. There are 3 BAT files to choose from flash_all, flash_all except data storage or flash_all lock. If I want to do a complete new installation do I choose flash_all

Everything works fine, however as many said below Google Pay contactless is not working, I have not tried Netflix. Could you please suggest to me how do I get .eu rom on the phone? Your network frequency is hardware based therefor will not change no matter what ROM you have installed. Visit xiaomi.eu forum for the Mi 11 Ultra ROM

No, Don't lock the bootloader after you flash the ROM because it will brick your phone. If you have installed the Official global ROM, you will receive OTA update. otherwise you have to download the latest ROM from xiaomi.eu to update

I have now downloaded 2 different stable versions for the MI 11 and after unpacking I do not get the files you show. I do not get the .bat file at all, what I do get is a long list of files starts with "firmware-update" "META-INF" "boot.img" and keeps going down to "vendor_boot.img".. how am I supposed to install using your method with the .bat file? or am I just getting the wrong file? I downloaded the 12.5.9 version first and I tried both androidfilehost and sourceforge and both give me the same result

No, once you flash the device, you will only get update for the ROM you have installed. Don't lock the bootloader after you flash the new ROM because your phone will not boot up

Just to clarify if you have the fastboot ROM from xiaomi.eu forum you don't need MiFlash tool. Just run the "windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format" and it will do everything for you. However if you have the official global ROM from en.miui.com/ you have to use the MiFlash tool.

Do you need to unlock bootloader to install XIAOMI.EU ROM? Or can flash straight from FastBoot? The reason why I ask is, you don't need to unlock to install custom Recovery (TWRP, etc.), and you don't need to unlock bootloader to access FastBoot.

Careful because once the bootloader has been unlocked successfully the phone will be factory reset automatically and everything will be deleted. Back up all your files before doing anything. No you cannot update one version to the other, you have to do a fresh install

@@kelhossiny that's not xiaomi.eu, but the stock rom. The eu zip for mi 11 has 2 different .bat files : for first flash and update The flash_all is only in stock fastboot rom.

@@TOPFONE4U I have problems on the adaptive refresh rate on the Global ROM on the Mi 11. Sometimes, the phone would completely lock on 60hz, even if I am using apps that has 120hz support. I think EU ROM is more optimized.

Hi Sir. I am going to import chinese variant of mi 11 from china through the help of retailer. The retailer shop says it takes 7 days to flash global rom. Is it true? Cause i fear they might open up my phone and take out the orginal parts of mobile phone and replace it with duplicate ones. If i gave my phone for 7 days. Also they told me they would get me 8gb ram 256 gb rom mi11 on 4,345.32 Chinese Yuan. Is it true we get the mi 11 8gb ram 256 gb rom variant on such price. Please help me know if my retailer is going to fool me.

In order to unlock your bootloader you have to wait depending on your account and region but most of the time is 168 hours (7 days). if you have a computer you can do it your self I have done a few tutorials to help unlock the bootloader and flash global rom. Check my other video for more info

Yes, you will receive OTA Update but TWRP recovery is required in order to install the Update

So I can order Chinese Version of this phone and get Xiaomi.eu version myself, instead of paying eur25 and waiting additional 2 weeks on Trading Shenzhen? Or do they do a hardware modification too?

No need to do any hardware changes, but if you never done it it can be a bit difficult getting the correct drivers. check my other videos for instructions

No, Do not lock the bootloader after you flashed the ROM because your phone will be stuck on a boot loop.

So there is no way to lock back the bootloader.....

fastboot error: device does not support slots??????????????????????? HELPPPPP :( switched to usb normal...*OLDER* slot and so far its flashing.....fucking AMD and their god dam agesa code almost lost my mind...this is exactly what i was afraid of...but i simply could not stand the china rom anymore trying to download everything from mi apps store..couldnt understand nothing

You don't have to flash to CN version before you can flash the global ROM, follow this video kzread.info/dash/bejne/iGysy7Coh92Tido.html just make sure you download the ROM for your device instead
