Hi guys. Has anybody managed to take a proper nandroid backup which can be successfully restored when needed. Any steps on what partition need to be checked and what TWRP version used?

i have a problem, when i press enter to flash the recovery and leave pressed Volume up + power key the device doesn't start on recovery The phone enter on a loop of the redmi logo, but when I release the power key to turn on the device I have no brick problem the problem is that twrp is not installed What can i do?

It's not Chinese variant it's indian variant.... Lrtwrp is by Chinese developer that's why it have Chinese language as default but u can change to English

I didn't got what are you asking exactly ... R u asking if u can flash magisk zip directly from install option ...then yes but remember to disable avb2.0 else during boot it will verify boot.img and its patched by magisk so it will fail to verify and may cause Bootloop or sometimes bricks

If u want to backup all ur partitions first then u need to flash lrtwrp android 10 ,take backup and put in safe place like in PC. And follow this kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z3aop6SvocLIj7w.html for cfw based custom roms

System was mounted in order to delete the recovery from boot.p file... If system wasn't mounted u were not able to find that file ... That is deleted so recovery doesn't replaced by stock one

You can use the same process but download twrp.img of android 10 given in the description ...

I didn't get the benefit of loading TWRP, if it's just look & feel, then that can be easily achieved with launchers and themes

Not possible to lock on custom rom... By the way unlocking bootloader in mi doesn't break warranty but rooting and flashing custom roms does void it's warranty,

That isn't global variant because in QGGINXM...IN stands for Indian variant if there was MI as QGGMIXM then it would be global variant... Well there are 5 different variant available for rn8pro

Yes it should work on android 9 based miui ...only few people have issue on miui 11.0.6 of global variant ... If u got any Bootloop after flashing magisk ... U can unroot from lrtwrp too... Even in that case u can flash fastboot roms

You have to wait for 168hrs for unlocking bootloader ... everyone gets same time period with few people having exceptions

If u took it from our description then it would be there ... And cfw roms doesn't need to close avb if ur on it

its done but when i restart my phone it just bootloop to fastboot

OTA Update via twrp 1. Download Full Recovery OTA ZIP 2. Place in internal storage 3. Boot to twrp 4. Flash the ROM, and Don't reboot 5. Close AVB 6. Flash latest magisk zip (if you wanna root) 7. Open file explorer inside twrp 8.Navigate to /system_root/system and check for file named "recovery-from-boot.p" and delete the file. 9. Reboot

You didn't have put any screen lock or any pin ? ... Then in that case it should not ask but it's better put a pin or pass

device wont start after doing the final step. just sends me back to twrp screen. only thing that reverses it is to unroot, then everything is back to normal. If i try the method again, step-by-step, same bootloop happens...

Yeah CTS profile is getting false now for many devices not only Redmi note 8 pro but other device ,I checked on xda .Even mine got false after the last update.
