If you change your name on Xbox one and you have to go to storage settings while in an 360 game and delete the profile and sign in again and it should work

go to settings, go to storage devices, and clear xbox 360 storage. it’ll reset your system and when you get back on the game it will log you back in

So I take it that you haven’t been able to fix it?

My issue is there is an account that I can sign in to but when I try to it asks me to sign into my current xbox one account. But when I do that it doesn’t sign me into the 360 account like it should and instead it just does nothing and I can keep spamming it forever but nothing will happen

Can someone help it says The Xbox guide is currently not available

It’s telling me that the Xbox guide is unavailable while clicking the two buttons

Also, if you go to Storage in Settings you can clear your Xbox 360 Data - that seemed to fix it for me.

I had the same problem. Series x wont login too xbox live. I disconnect my router. Put the cable from my mediabox directly too my series x and the problem was gone. After that i put my router on my series x and everything works fine. It is a router issue

You will notice that clearing the cache might not work. There is a problem with backward compatibility login between xbox 360 password only and non password only authentication. For example MFA, app authenticator etc. To solve the issue, you will need go generate an app password in your microsoft account. To navigate there, open the microsoft authenticator app, then « update how you sign in and verify », and go a bit below on the page until you see « app password ». You should be able to navigate there using a different mean - note. Generate a new one and use that password to login in your 360 game. You will probably need to enter the password each time as storing it locally is also buggy.

I was trying to get bo2 zombies to work and deleting my xbox 360 profile from storage after pressing the view and menu button together and redownloading it worked

The system told me the Xbox guide is not available I think mines a different problem

This worked for me, thanks for helping.

For people trying to play bo2 and it says can't connect I went to multiplayer and played a local match vs some bots and then went to sign in and it worked

@@brauchitsch82 yo I found out a way on how to do it, do you have an Xbox one or series x, if so you can change your password word turn off recurring billing on your one and go back on your 360 and turn recurring billing off. Recurring billing refreshes your account

Tried this and when I press both buttons no 0 profiles to download even though I’m logged onto profile on series x. I tried clearing 360 storage too and rebooting amd nothing ,only reason there might still be an issue is if u ganeshare . I gameshare with my son in same house . I’m currently downloading a 360 game to his series x and gunna see if it makes a difference.

I just spoke with Microsoft customer service about that exact issue. Apparently it's a technical glitch that has to do with Game Pass subscriptions. Since the old consoles utilized the online service under a different name, "Xbox Live Gold", the new subscription service name just confuses things.

@@enesturgud7635 After trying numerous things out, I realized that it has to do with your NAT Type. Go into your network settings and make sure that it says "OPEN", otherwise it will not connect to Xbox Live at all. If your current internet connection doesn't work, try using a mobile hotspot if possible.

@@enesturgud7635 Also... Because I normally use a mobile hotspot for gaming, I had to switch some settings on my phone. I have T-Mobile, so I had to go into my mobile data settings and switch over to 3G/4G instead of 5G, and then turn on my hotspot. Goofy... But it worked.

Try connecting your Xbox WiFi with another WiFi it worked for me

I changed my username tried what you said and it still doesn't work

As a fix for me, I logged into my home internet and add port forwarding for Xbox 360 and boom. Worked fast. My ATT router had a 360 profile so I don’t know the numbers but it worked like a charm.

Fixed it gonna keep up for anyone else in my situation. Just bring up the 360 dash by pressing start and select at the same time then go to storage and delete profile only and go back to the game and download profile and you'll be good to go

problem for the xbox 360 account which means a problem for every 360 game you play ur progress will not save and you will not get achievements so, this is a problem for digital and disk.

Try going into settings»system»storage devices From there, go to “clear local xbox 360 storage”. Select yes. Your xbox may restart for a moment, then you should be able to play your games just fine :) This worked for me! Good luck

@@kidchase62 Oh im sorry man, it took me HOURS to figure out what to do for my case (after i changed my gamertag), and this was just what worked for me. Sorry dude, im not exactly sure what else may work :( Maybe try to contact xbox, if you think that might help any. Or just go through more videos on your situation here on youtube. Good luck!!
