How To Fix Windows Update Error Code 0x8007000d in Windows 11/10 [Solution]
Error 0x8007000d crops up when components have been damaged in the course of an update or are missing altogether. There are a few ways to solve 0x8007000d, including with the Windows troubleshooter.
When Windows runs into damaged system files during an update, you can end up with error code 0x8007000d. The error message will read “Some update files are missing or contain errors.” The error comes up in Windows versions 7, 8, 10 and 11 and prevents an update from being carried out. It’s thus important to fix 0x8007000d as soon as possible. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do to prevent this problem from coming up. If components are missing or damaged, Windows will abort the update. But there are a number of possible solutions.
1. Click on Windows and R to open Run.
2. Enter cmd into the command line and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter all at once.
3. Confirm with Yes. Then keep working with admin privileges.
Enter the following command: sfc /scannow
4. Confirm with Wait until the command has been fully executed. Then restart your computer. Now use the DISM command (Deployment Image Servicing and Management). To do so, open the console and enter: DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
