After installing everything, the computer ran out of power and the password would not take. I even thought about resetting again, but could not get the prompt to troubleshoot, so this helped with that too. Thanks a bunch for this!

how to remove password in settings and how will be direct sign in

12 days ago i played a game, and i got BSOD and the game uninstalled and i got BSOD after that when my PC loaded, Safe Mode was on and the Red X is on the WiFi icon and i watched on yt how to turn off safe mode and the red x is still there. Help! Edit:the red x is also on the Speaker icon

It worked getting me into Safe Mode but the same problem occurs at the second (the regular) bootup. Ideas?

When i click on the restart button holding shift it brings me to the blue screen and the only option i have is turn off your pc

.. it still says its incorrect .. edit: after changing my password through microsoft on my phone and it still not working i choose to just reset my PC. my laptop is super slow so i rarely use it anyway, its just getting rid of my wallpapers and colorful settings.

I'm glad I came across this video. Today, I had the same problem only with a PIN pre-established and the system suddenly asking for a password. I followed your instructions and it allowed me to, once again, use my PIN to enter. Even after all these years, MS still hasn't resolved this Windows 10 issue. Thank you.

my dad was screaming at me because i cannot sign in to my computer, he was supposed to fix the laptop but things happened and i was really panicking at that point and i thought i would never ever open the laptop again. This video helped me alot man thank you so much! The steps are just so easy to follow, i just told my dad that it's okay now, again tyvm again!!

Brobi fixed it just reset it whole pc

Shift + restart doesn't work and brings back the login in image. Cant login, doesn't restart, shutdown and keeps on saying 'rpc server unavailable'

Someone please help when I do shift plus restart it does not bring me to that page it just restart my computer and brings me back

I doubt you will see this now but me son got his first computer today. It’s a hand-me-down from his grandparents who retired and didn’t need it. For the life of us we couldn’t figure out how to reset it but you finally put us on the right track. Than you so much keep it up ❤

Hi my problem is that only when I have assigned a new user for the first time they are not able to type the password but as an old user when I use my login name it allows me to enter the password. there is nothing wrong with any keyboard or hardware problems

My login problem is that black dots fill the login window preventing me from entering password, must try repeatedly to clear window and enter password. Bad keyboard?

I did the restart and everything but it will go to the welcome image and stay there for like 5 min then it goes to a black screen and it will pop the bottom up (where the search engine and windows button is) for like half a second and it just stays on the black screen. Please help me I really need help with this.

It tells me that my organization requires that I change my pin but when I try it says pins do not match and I’ve only had the option to enter the pin one time.

When the computer restarts it’s still not giving me the option to put in a password but instead I get the same message “the specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted” is there anything else I can do?

I'm unable to access the safe mode.. Everytime I press f4/f5 or any F key for that matter.. It again takes me back to the normal login screen. Not the safe mode login screen. Plz help.

Sometimes windows is really just shit, just one time when i turn off my pc with the button, it just refuses to turn on
