Thanks for using the Tanggula box because that is my exact issue with this particular android box. Filling out the proxy, now it's asking for A Valid Network prefix length, then DNS 1, DNS 2. Now what?

My Android TV Box is connected to my usual Wifi, but now I wish to connect it to a faster 5G connection, but my Box doesn't even see the connection. Any ideas how to get around that when Android Smartphones both see and connect to the 5G Network, but my TV Box doesn't even see it? I think I might need to change something at the Router itself, but I don't know what exactly.

Hi, it depends on the devices you have. Some routers and devices support both 2.4GHZ and 5GHZ bands, that's where the problem is. I suggest you get your Box close to your Wi-Fi router and check if you can see your Wi-Fi. The distance for a 5GHZ router is very short.

@@remyd1984 If you're asking me then, I upgraded my Android Box to one that recognises 5G and now it finds both my WiFi and my Unlimited SIM Card via a 4G Hotspot from my older Samsung S7 Galaxy Edge. If/when the WiFi starts buffering, I switch over to my Mobile SIM Hotspot at 50 Mbps and that usually solves any buffering problems. Hope that helps you somewhat.

@@AmZeeel die TV box selbst bleibt im Internet und das Signal ist "gut", aber der Play Store von Google verliert immer wieder die WLAN Verbindung 😢😾 Ich habe die Tipps von Dir auch innerhalb der App vom Play Store angewendet , aber klappt trotzdem nicht. Hi, I guess you are talking about an Android Box. This is issue is usually caused by the cable, remove the same cable and make sure it's connected to properly to TV and to your device, you might consider replacing it if it's still doesn't work.

While i was watching this video I just saw my tv box time was incorrect and when I went to set the time date was also incorrect so problem just solved with this

Hi, go to settings - prefrences and reset your TV Box to default settings and set it up again, tap reset and reset again. You will get that setp to choose your wifi and enter your password

My issue is not resolved and it's not showing any WiFi. Network at all. On Android TV box. 😢

Hi, disable hotspot in your phone, now turn off your Android Box and your phone for a few seconds and turn them back on, enable hotspot option in your phone, you will see your phone network in your Box, press more in your Box settings to display all available networks

Hi, disconnect wifi in your Box, connect an ethernet cable from to the back of your Box from your wifi router, update your Box manually. After update is complete, turn off your Box, remove the power supply for 2 minutes and try again to connect to wifi

Hi, it may be update problem, you can connect your box with an ethernet cable and manually update your Box. Your box is not within the range, Make sure your Box is close to your wifi router. Still suffering this annoying problem....my android box does not show up or find my dongle but yet the phones do and it's right next to it...but it does find sometimes.....after a reset....? Is this common problem

Hi, do you see other wifi connections or not. Try to get your Box closer to the wifi router. You can also connect your Box through a cable just to check if it's working

@@bacondude10 No, just connect the cable from your router to the Box, just to check if the box doesn't have another problem. I think the wifi chip is not working. Try the cable first, connect it and check a channel

My problem on my mbox is that when I try to turn the wifi on, it just automatically turned off, even if you try to turn it on again, it will turn itself off. Does anyone know how to fix it?🤨

Hi, make sure your Box is up to date, then go to Settings - Apps - storage, tap to clear cache and remove data. Then restart your Box

Sorry for the late reply. Remove unnecessary apps from your device and check your internet speed. Connect an ethernet cable from your router to your device just to check if this changes something, if the cable resolved the problem, you will have to change your wifi speed. I don't know your wifi speed details, but 50mbps is excellent for streaming.

You can only get into the network advanced settings for your wifi if it connects to it.. Mine is not connecting at all for some reason.. I've tried just about everything

That's true, did you reset your Wi-Fi router. After you reset it, you will have to select the default wifi name and password showing under the router.

Hi, make sure your Android box is up to date. I suggest you connect an ethernet cable from your router to the Box and manually run updates. If it doesn't work, check the USB power supply, change it. If nothing, reset your Box and set it up again using an internet cable. Disconnect the cable and see if you can connect to Wi-Fi.
