Last solution of changing register value helped me to get cursor but it isn't moving. Can you please help me here

under policies i have no options except for default and can't choose enable cursor suppression...still no fix. can move the pointer with the touchpad but can't click on anything

After some testing I figured out my problem, I just needed to advance settings used one of the recommended updates, and bam after a few minutes, my freaking touchpad is back.

Ok so my touchpad works fine but my cursor is the problem when I tap anything the calendar on tabs pops out and then vanishes making my cursor lag a lot. I tryed updates restarts uninstalls but it still don’t work for my cursor it freezes from time to time ??? Can someone help me

it was a key on a keyboard, i accidentally pressed it and as a result disabled a touchpad

None of these worked out for me. The most the last option did was make my mouse visible again, but unable to be used still.

I2c HID Device is the driver that worked perfectly. Update driver, select file from my computer, select I2C HID Device, install, restart. Fixed. The other solutions here did not work.

What if I don't have the Touchpad choice in device manager?

My touchpad pointer disappears when either I start up my computer or touch the touch screen. What works for me is to close the clamshell. Nothing else so far, but this method requires me to log in again. I would rather have a keyboard shortcut or not have the pointer disappear at all. Nevertheless, this is one more thing people may try.

FYI if you turn your laptop on and there is a red cross on the touchpad pop-up then you've accidentally disabled it. Just press the touchpad function key or enable it in the settings
