There are different versions of the bios that they put out. Kind of like updating your graphics card.

Idk what the hell is wrong with my pc but I just got it and that light is on and one thing that’s weird is out of no where my gpu and memory clock will just spike up to 10000 than go back down

On my Asrock z690 PG4 the vga led is burning. But I have no prolems at all. I enter Windows, can play every game I have. Everything seems to be working good. 🤷‍♂️

I builded a new pc but there was a problem with water cooler fans were so loud and not working correctly and there was a RED light in power button that keeps blinking so after that day i refunded and changed with new msi water cooler and fans were silent almost no noise and the red light was gone. We did stress test with the new water cooler and broken water cooler i hope we didn't dmg cpu or mobo with the broken one but it was working perfectly after new water cooler!

@@Eostrixadvent Updating your bios is always a good idea because of security updates/bug fixes. It's really not dangerous at all unless your power goes out and you aren't hooked up to a ups battery backup.

If the cpu light comes on it’s probably a cpu issue I know you probably have fixed the issue by now but you could’ve tried reseating the cpu

I was scared to update my bios to. It took me more than a few tries to find out which bios update I needed. Long as you are connected to power and your patient. It should be fine I didn't have to much trouble. If you need some help I will try my best.@@LazyOnPc

Tru fact: If it is not absolutely necessary dont flash your bios. Otherwise, as already mentioned you get new security updates, bugfixes and so on. Said that most of my computers have been flashed. I never had issues doing a bios update. And most of the time it has never been necessary. But yes it is always a more risky task. An blackout during this procedure and shtf. Using the wrong bios file....... well..... I think this should never be the case .... normaly.... Manufacturers HP/your board/support/bios

I would like to ask if the red light have anything to do with my random pc crashing? The red light problem have already occurred for half a year but I though that was normal.However my computer just starts to randomly crash lately so I am wondering if the red light is the problem

@@ngaitony8898 I'm not a professional so I would weigh your options and see first if you can fix it if not then I would take it to get fixed at the shop. I usually use the SFC /scannow command in cmd sometimes that can help among other things

Usually when I put my pc to sleep it will blink but that sounds unusual. I would try googling to see if anyone has similar issues.

@@Eostrixadvent i just turned it on after a month without using or turning it on, my island recently got hit with a typhoon. But this is new to my pc, the previous issue was js that, my monitor shows no signal even though my pc is on and everything, but now its that, and i cant turn it off because the ‘blue light’ that has shows a “💡” wont stop flickering while i hold the power off button

Same it’s blinking for me but it doesn’t affect my computer at all maybe it’s just an indicator to tell that the pc is turned on and in use 🤷

i was at my task manager and i expanded something but then my omen pc all of the light was white but turned orange and red so i dont know what happened

Can you ask your bud why it started blinking when I added a new ssd

Might need to put new thermal pads on if your warranty is expired or player in lower resolution on also make sure you have updated your graphics card that can help

My problem is every time I shut down the PC when starting back up it takes a long time to be able to click on anything The light keeps blinking so I just let the PC go to sleep for a long time till the light stops blinking.then wake up the PC, for it to work. So for now I have to put the PC to sleep just so the PC works instead of waiting for a long time.

I had the same trouble, you most likely need to test and see which bios update works correctly for your pc. I took me a while but I had to go through each one by one till mine stopped blinking.

@@Eostrixadvent I got a small update, i went through all the bios updates like you said. None of them seem to fix the issue and when i got to the lower versions it said it wasn't a proper bios file. I have an Asus TUF z960-plus D4 the oldest bios it took was version 2004. Rn i'm just on the latest version 3103 the light is still blinking and unfortunately on the startup of my pc my microphone and sometimes my wifi adapter wouldn't be found, so now i have to sometimes manually replug them in. Kinda just gave up for now. Thanks for the video and the response tho this is like the only thing on the entire internet that explains my exact pc problem.

You could try looking into using Event Viewer, it's built into windows to help diagnose computer problems. @kelmans8806​

@@Eostrixadvent Looked into the Event Viewer, it didn't give me much info. when i started my pc today my wifi adapter didn't automatically turn on so i had to plug it in my pc again. When i looked into the event viewer i saw the errors that it didn't connect straight away. It didn't give an error why it didn't connect properly tho so that kinda sucks. And i know it is not my wifi adapter at fault because 1 week after i started to have this problem i bought a brand new one and both the old and new one had this connection problem same as my mic. I think it has to be the bios or perhaps a power issue. I also reinstalled windows 11 and it also did not help.

I did uptade it an it is still blinking

It could be a memory ram issue try making sure it's installed all the way in. Also I would check and see if your still having an issue using one cause they could have died you never know.

That's a new one, I could be wrong but I think your blue light should be when the pc is asleep. At least that is what mines does. I would try searching for it online first if you can't find anything let me know.
