I had watched this video, and it helped me out! I fixed the rubber In the top shield, added a thin layer of rubber on both sides an added some vegetable silicone grease, also in the hand pump. No more leaking in that pump! Thank you for the video!

You are more than welcome :) Nice upgrade you have done! I had not time waiting for silicone to dry out, as no spare pump that time at disposal.

heyy, what its happend, how long hold that fix with silicone :) u have an update? i want to try with silcone. in a few days, my tetra leaking too... and i buy a new Christal profi 902c an thats me too loud. i want back to tetra xD and thx for the fix video

Thanks!! My filter had the same problem as yours,the gasket was dirty and the screwable part of the hand pump was screwed in very slowly, I also took advantage of it and I disassembled the block of the pipes to clean the gaskets and the pipes themselves inside.

Muchas gracias,yo tenía el mismo problema, incluso cambie la junta por una nueva y seguia perdiendo agua, es un problema de diseño,he anulado por completo el cebador,he tapado el agujero y de momento parece que funciona bien. Muchas gracias.

For anyone not leaking at the top seal, I solved my leaking problem by replacing all the o-rings.

Ahoj, ako to teda dopadlo? Mne dnes vznikol ale že presne ten istý rpoblém, filter EX600, má asi štyri roky a začal tiecť, 16.4. pozeral som, nepomohlo by tam najaké tesnenie? Ak ideš kupit nejaký nový filter, prosím poraď, mám dve korytnačky a kandia o dušu.

Ahoj, prepac, ze tak neskoro reakcia. Tie Tetry su asi tym chronicky zname... Skoda ze Tetra nedodava to tesnenie ako nahradnu suciastku. Ono skusat sa da vzdy, len to potom clovek uz nikdy asi kludny nieje :D :D Kupil som JBL e902. Viac huci jak Tetra a hlavne ked chces zobrat a umyt len napr. vpust hadicu tak sa neda lebo je to cele na fix k tej casti co sa cela vklada dnu.... tiez je s tym tazsia manipulacia nakolko tu ozrutu musis prepchat celu poza skrinku. Ja som si na kazdu hadicu dal jeden extra ventil pred vpustom/vypustom do filtra. Teraz zastavim ventil a luxusne si hadicu vytiahnem prec.

Que son las juntas toricas que tiene donde las mangueras son 6 en total dejaros de líos 2 interiores y 4 donde salen de la cabeza se cambian todas y listo

Thank you :) Actually, I rather decided to buy other brand.... Silicone work would require a lot of work, meaning figuring out what with filtration of aquarium during the time of silicon drying...(2days at least) And to be honest, maybe it was piping thing (that piece of in and out that you can take down from head) So I did not want to invest more money in this filter. Bearing on mind this was my 3rd fixing... Hearing all around like people has fixed it from all possible way and it was worthless.. I bought JBL e902. The water flow test is out already.

Does it make a lot of sound? I'd like to buy it for my aquarium but its in my bedroom

Nope. I had it in my bedroom and I was ok. Once after purchase, just do not freak out that it is noisy as it will be louder first 2-3 months. Afterwards it will get silent. It is much quiter then JBL 902e.

It is not the most reliable filter on the market, but certainly one of quietest. My one was ghost silent right from the start. No problem in bedroom. Well, may be. My wife hears Miyota quartz move in my wristwatch 5 feet from her ears...

I de montage it and glue it with a piece of Plastic

So did it work? I've the same problem, i tried sucking it but damn that water tastes nasty :P

Yes it did. Actually it worked for first 2 or 3 times when the leaking occured. This video is the last time i repaired it but it was enought it did not work. I got new filter instead.
