Is your Xbox an Admin connection to your router What I'm trying to say does your router give Admin reggi and connection to your console if not that's why it doesn't show u factory default Mine says factory default and I tried this all the exact same steps but it don't work

im not sure but it might mean your xbox is bricked but u can try to re-enter your internet password cuz that worked for me

McMellon mine worked i just had to switch between automatic and manual like 3 or 4 times and then i went to advanced and went to factory settings and tried to connect to my wifi again and it work for me and now my xbox is updating :)

Thanks man it surprisingly worked after restored to factory settings and disconnected the Xbox from my WiFi then connected again.
