It does work but it's temporary. You might have to do this like every 10 minutes. I recommend doing this with rubbing alcohol

This is so helpful because I’m sick and tired of op stick drift. It makes it so hard when I’m playing games where I don’t need to constantly be looking everywhere.

Try popping the sticks up and then blowing around them it will remove dust and then spin them for 50 to 80 Seconds depending on how bad drift is. If you have isopropyl alcohol ( 70% or more ) use a small amount instead of blowing .

You can buy replacement parts for $10 and install them in less then 15 minutes when watching a KZread tutorial you can also try to clean the parts where the analog stick connects and around it using a q tip and iso all this is doing is making stick drift worse,wearing your analog sticks down and wearing the shell down.

Thanks, before I tried pushing the stick the other way the joystick ripped off but I was able to put it back on in a few minutes

Best use for pads with stick drift is use them for fighting games like I do because you don't need the analog sticks just the Dpad 😎

No. That loosens dirt and drops it inside the motherboard and will ruin the controller. Take off the shell take off the thumsticks. Blow them out and re assemble

Exactly. Or push the sticks all the way one way and blow air around the edges. This will just wear out your sticks

The tool kit you need to fix controller’s cost less than a controller. A new joystick with two potentiometers on it is 4$. Can fix two controllers with each one if they only drift one axis.

Found out a temporary fix until you can get a new controller go into xbox accessories then configure and swap the sticks so that left stick is right and vice versa its working great for me on rdr2 im not constantly having to adjust the camera

That's cause you don't use your controller enough. The Switch is notorious for stick drift.

Just take the controller apart and clean the sensors that our for the analog sticks i did it for my ps5 controller the other day

Fix for ps4 users: Literally twist the analog left and right until nothing happens after a long time, until it feels weird, or until it clicks into place. I have opened and closed that shit like 4 times turns out that shit was literally twisted 😂😂
