We had our Sonos Beam 2 soundbar installed by the "Geek Squad". We had lip sync problems from the start. I had them come back out, but they couldn't fix it. I called Sonos and Samsung, but they had no solution. I was ready to give up, but in my on-line search for a solution, I came upon your video. Bingo....no lip sync problem. Thank you!!!!

After a few adjustments on the audio delay (it was at 20, set it to 40) on the TV settings, it finally worked. Amazing! Thank you.

Side tip/ in addition check the options section on ps5 and sound options > audio out put > and hdmi device type select sound bar then scroll all the way down (in the audio output tab still) and see general and then aduio format then switch it to Liner PCM and it fixes the delay. This guy in the video was a great help as well thx pal

You are now limited to 2.0 stereo sound, not a fix if you have a 5.1 or 7.1 system.

Thank you. It was my audio sound setting on my TV. I changed my digital audio out delay from 30 to 60 and then the audio and video came into perfect sync.

Dang it worked. Changed to PCM. And set it at 10 for audio delay. No delay or whatsoever. Oddly, im still experiencing minor delay with 0 audio delay, but 10 might be the sweet spot. I dont know but it works!! Thanks man!

Hey, just set all device audio sources to the same audio sync speed so if your TV set up is 0ms set the soundbar to 0ms and the BluRay player or source of audio to 0ms all these devices need to have the same synchronisation speeds. If a device cannot reach 0ms such as older devices then just set them to the lowest common denominator. So if the TV cannot reach 0ms but can reach 50ms then set the soundbar to 50ms and the other sources. Do not change to pcm if you want to get the full quality of audio without delays.

Resetting my TVs audio default settings worked. There is a slight delay but barely noticeable. I have a Bose sound bar and the remote is pretty minimal so I will have to play around with it to find the sync settings. Thank you!

It kinda worked, though there's no significant delay, (I can't help to turn the volume up from the TV speakers just to compare to the bar... There's still a slight delay... Not as annoying as it was before watching this video) ... But it certainly improved my experience and lyp syncing while watching HBO... So thanks!!!

Thank you so much. I got nowhere calling Samsung. You mentioned on the soundbar to plug the HDMI cable into the eARC. It was, but when I went to the sound settings on the TV looking for the digital output audio, it was off. Switched it to auto and now it was a little out of sync. Went to digital output audio and I had two choices, auto and pass through. I changed it to pass through and now it works perfectly.

IMPROTANT! If this two steps doesn't work change optical cable! It solve my lag problem!!! And another tip for everyone! If You can connect soundbar via aux in/phones it's much faster than optical! Even converted signal from optical to aux is faster than optical to optical!!!

That's because your TV would of been 0ms and the source of audio would of been 0ms... If they differ then you'd get a delay. Simply set all devices to 0ms or the same audio processing delay time and they will sync. These numbers should never be different

Thanks for the info in the video. Unfortunately I'm still having audio lag. I am connecting my PC to my LG OLED42C24LA TV via hdmi 2.1 and I have a LG SN7CY sound bar with rear speakers connected to the tv through hdmi (2.1) arc. If I change the tv output mode from auto to pcm it stops the lag but all the sounds end up routed through the rear satellite speakers or when I try and play a game or video all the speakers (sound bar and satellites) play the exact same sounds. So my choice seems to be unwatchable audio lag or surround not working properly. If I set the audio output on the tv to auto then surround sounds works as it should but I get audio lag. I can't find any option to manually sync the audio to video on my sound bar either (like your option 2) and googling it hasn't helped me find out if I can do that on this sound bar. Nightmare.

On the soundbar settings, I started at 300ms and worked my way to 0ms and I still get the delay. I have them connected by using the optical cable. My tv only goes as high as 25ms. I also have issues with, for example KZread videos including this video, the first couple of seconds audio is missing. Do you know what causes this?

i have soundcard v8, and i want to karaoke with this Soundcard(ampli/mixxer). Soundcard connect to samsung soundbar with BT and the music is oke, but my voice on my microphone is delay. Can you help me please.

I have the new LGc1 oled tv and the Vizio elevate soundbar and I'm getting an audio delay on my Apple TV 5 seconds or so. the picture will start playing but no sound. I have the soundbar connected to the Earc port on the television and my xbox and Apple TV connected to the tv. I emailed someone from dolby and they said to get a two way HDMI splitter to figure out what's causing the latency issue it's either the sound bar or the tv. once I switch is to pcm it's fine but you don't get dolby atmos anymore..

HT-CT290 wireless subwoofer but now i can not connected with bluetooth and it is not connected with subwoofers also and when i turn on its of automatically can you suggest me?

Samsung tv. Samsung soundbar with optical. Delay issue was BAD. But changing sound out to PCM from auto made an enormous difference. I do not know if I am sure it is 100% fixed but I am evaluating, and really looking for it. I don’t think most people would notice anything. Thanks!
