Thank you! Amazing that Sony troubleshooting itself didn't lead me down this fix! Video suddenly went black while watching the olympics, but could still hear the audio. Did a power reset a couple ways, and always just displayed SONY. The factory reset of holding the power and volume down buttons at the same time as plugging it in worked! Woohoo!

If it does it again take it back - there is something inherently wrong with it

Stuck on netflix logo.. the shows are playing as i can hear the episodes but the tv never moved on from the full logo. First solution worked for me, thank you so so much! I have the kd-49x700d series

This worked for me. My 2019 Bravia had the main board fail as soon as the warranty ended. It was stuck in the Reboot Loop and the factory reset would not execute. Researching on the Sony Community Board I discovered how wide spread this issue is and how bad the company handled it. I have lost all faith in Sony.

I have the same issue. It happened last year, and a hard reset fixed it. It happened again last week, but a hard reset didn't work this time.

@@MantasMantelis123 someone said me it's the damaged eMMC, so it should be replaced and re-flashed. Take it as a suggestion because I have no certain answers about. BTW I've bought a reballing set for eMMC chips and going to try soon cause I have the original mainboard not booting and a second one from AliExpress doing this boot-loop, so I can try the eMMC swap.

Had the same issue with my "old" KD - 65X8507C! I Facing a boot loop and I was close to dump it. Both tricks do not worked for me. I plugged in a USB drive with some never/not compatible Sony Firmware. He left the loop and the "hard reset" with the comment that an USB update is not working :-) Try this in the combination with this video!!!

Tried a factory reset as I’m giving my old tv to a relative. Now when they turn the tv on it says Sony then the Android logo animation starts. After a few seconds it turns off and starts the cycle again. So frustrating.

My TV loves to crash and freeze on System UI

Our 65in Bravia has been nothing but trouble! It interfaces with the Bose soundbar poorly The apps are glitchy and problematic. Netflix, Max, Paramount, Disney and Hulu are always buffering… despite having the fasted internet in North Dallas… We named our TV, “Hemorrhoid” because it’s a pain out our ass. Never getting a hemorrhoid/android tv ever again!
