Guys! Use a soft brush to clean the material off. Use actual headliner spray, and wait about 5 minutes before you try to reapply the material so it gets tacky, and doesn’t wet the material when applied. You don’t want it to soak through the material what so ever.

The factory instructions say - that glue is not recommended for headliners

It’s really not but you’re supposed to spray and let the glue dry a bit so you don’t get those wet marks you see

Mixed with Elmers Glue is the best solution for saggy headliners…

Don't do this. It will fall down again quickly. If part of the headliner is falling down, the remainder is soon to follow. Pull the fabric down, remove the dust and glue. Spay the liner with fabric spray paint.

I ended up buying a new headliner all together. and installed it. 6 months later the new fabric is sagging. any idea what's causing this? so frustrating.

That's not going to work in about a week it will do it again and it actually says not to use that spray for head liners because of the foam in between the liner and particle board.
