My Switch, Xbox, and PC have no issues staying connected over WiFi. Ps5 frequently drops connection and lags in games. I don't see any articles about it but I know it's an issue for a lot of people.

Changing the DNS server to manual and set the IP to what you stated in the video and also change the speed to 5Ghz. It fixes my PS5 Division 2 delta 03 issue permanently. Thank you very much.

@@jacobvilla8224 sure thing. I had problems with connection drops and the PS5 having super slow speeds after switching to New wifi. I chose bandwidth and set DNS settings manually. Hope this helps!

Make sure you switch Ghz and see if that fixes it. You're router may be set to a certain one by default. That was my problem apparently. Now my software update is redownloading for me for Network features! 2:16

I'm going to try the DNS settings tonight. I've been having an issue where my PS5 is connected to the internet but when I try to play warzone it says it fails to connect online. I run a wired set-up but never changed the DNS. I tried rebuilding the system in safe mode, factory resetting completely and a bunch of other small tedious things but never the DNS settings. Thanks for the video I really hope this works.

Thank you for the tips. I was getting so flustrated I have never had such a bad internet connection. By changing the dns and switching to 5ghz I was able to raise it from 2.4mbps to 99.1mbps download speed and from 72.8kbps to 16.5mbps upload speed. Not super great but better than it was. I'm disappointed that the internet connection is so much worse than my ps4 but I've been trying to get the ps5 forever.

OMFG. So my WiFi extender was fine until I unplugged it. All of a sudden it didn't connect and was stating 'Failed' I had to Authenticate it for some reason and I did not know how to at all! I tried going into the router settings and nothing worked! Nothing! I changed the DNS to manual and WALA! Genuinely, thank you so much! Stay blessed.

I believe it’s the AX technology on these newer routers. I have a newer one and enabled the AX capability. Past 2 days, it will drop connection on all 5ghz. Phone, tablets get disconnected, as well as my ps5. It’s iffy. I reset the router and it will add some devices very slowly, some are added instantaneously which I could never understand why. My old one was a bit slower, but still works. Dunno if upgrading was worth the headache.

I got a question how could I check what’s connected to my internet(think something is making it slower). I’ve haven’t had issues with internet connection until now with my ps5. It’s constantly connecting to the internet then losing connection. Haven’t connected any new devices kinda just starting acting up out of no where.

I get 372 mbps which is really good however I’ll be in the middle of playing a game and my game just disconnects with the error saying lost connection to host mainly for cod games but yea i check settings and it feels as if it’s disconnected. My router is downstairs so im thinking about gettin those ethernet powerline connector adapters so that way i can play wired even though my router is far
