Go game settings and search a 30fps mode or something else so youl get 1440p graphics and 4k on pro with 30fps or go in ps settings and put on 720p or lower

Fr man especially when it’s summer it overheats in 5-8 mins

I have two hours of electricity time to play, And the air conditioner needs an hour to make the air temperature which is 50 go down and an hour to cool down a device that means I can't play

If I load up Roblox on my ps it will turn into a jet

I have a small fan that sits at the back of my PlayStation and a fan right above it blowing cool air directly on it and it still overheats 😭

Yeah I've had the ceiling fan on in the same room with my PS4, it overheated, first time it's done that in 6 years

I think your thermal paste is gone it's not the fan, I've had mine for 4 years never cleaned it it was loud but it didn't overheat replace the thermal paste

Ps4 Too hot? Hi. My ps4 is from launch day so nearly 10 years and playing God of War was sounding bit too loud. Ordered some air spray, alcohol and thermal paste.. cleaned whole console out and took a lot of thick black dust from the heat sink. Applied a pea sized amount of paste. Now my ps4 is sounding like a jet engine when I open GOW sounds suiuuuper loud then beeps flashes red and says too hot. What have I done wrong pls help me dear lord

Buy a ps5 I think playstation adds that to the system to give you a better reason to get it, ever since the release of p5 i been getting overheating notifications a lot and barely play on the p4 until I got the p5

To everyone in the comments. If you're using a 2TB hardrive on your ps4, Thats what's causing your ps4 to overheat. You need to unplug the 2TB. Or if you're using 4TB, Unplug it. Because those hardrives are using extra power and your systems can't handle it. Do not plug the external hardrive back in until you buy what's known as a Playstation cooling system. Then you can use the 2TB or 4TB if you have them. But you need to unplug the external hardrive and get a Playstation cooling system.

None of this won't work this video is foolish the proper way is to open the ps4 and clean the entire thing and replace thermal paste and check the thermal pads if they are broken as well this method won't work worst video on KZread 😒
