What worked for me that's not mentioned here: I had my game already in my cart before I added my PayPal as payment method (which is what I was trying to use for the purchase) So I removed the game from the cart, then re-added it to the cart, and it worked. In other words: if you're about to use a new payment method, don't add it after the game is already in the cart. Clear the cart, add the payment method, then add the game to the cart. (I also deleted old, out of date payment methods that weren't being used; not sure if that did anything though as they were at no point part of the equation)

As of this date, adding the funds from your credit or debit card to your ps wallet was the working option for me🙏🏽 bless you champ

I've had this issue for almost a month now and nothing worked. Deleting and re-adding my payment method, using a different card, adding my PayPal, clearing cache. Nothing. I just added funds to my wallet FROM THE CARD THAT SONY REJECTED and it accepted the payment and I was finally able to get my PS+ back. How could it possibly be that I have to go through a whole process to simply use a service when there is a clearly easier option that worked before but is completely broken now?
