Always put a piece of clean paper between the iron and the edge tape.

Yesterday I found a piece of bookcase edging laminate that came off, so this is handy. But what setting on the iron? Medium?
Would a heat gun also work for this? Just don’t want to accidentally burn the laminate so wondered if hot air might work just as well?
Would a hairdryer work also? difficulty using iron due to location...
Bill the allrounder 👍

Hello, what kind glue do you recommend?
Gutted that i did not see this video before i put other glue on top. It didn't stick, and so im not sure the heat trick will work for me 😩
What stops it peeling again?
Hi Bill, love your channel, thanks for all the tips. One question for this video ....what if your laminate is gloss finished, can you still use this technique?

You can put a rag between the iron and the laminate to protect it if needed👍

@@billshowto thank you 👍
I have laminate edging that is missing though.
Nice. In my case the edging is on an inside curve though. The iron would not usable in that case. Any ideas for how to fix something like that?

A heat gun or hair dryer will also work 👍
Thank you. Can you use a hot hair dryer or is iron the best way?

So long as the color is not discontinued you can always purchase more from the manufacturer 👍
