thank you big time for this. have 15 of these trucks in the fleet and they’ve been popping up with this. after cleaning the throttle bodies it goes away and they run like new.

How do you test of the sensor is bad? I want to make sure parts are actually bad before swapping out

Be careful if you unplug your throttle body you may need to have it relearned to the vehicle! Ask me how i just found that out after watching this video 😂 truck wanted to idle at 2,000rpm and got stuck at 3,500rpm!

I continue to get this code after changing the sensor and tracing the wiring back to the ecm . When the truck gets warm and you put the truck in park the idle goes up to 1500 sometimes higher. Iv changed the IAC sensor and brake buster ran a smoke machine and starting fluid to look for vacuum leaks

Do you have to reprogram the throttle body when you clean it out

Will this cause the truck not to start?
