The blades are sharp, very sharp. The one minus that everyone should be aware of is you need to be very careful taking the cutting unit out of the box. There’s a plastic guard so you don’t cut fingers as you take the main unit out of the box but it’s not taped down. As I took the unit out, I ended cutting a piece of my shirt. The plastic guard moved and my shirt touched one of the blades.

This happened to me This afternoon , I cleaned the air filter , checked the spark plug , and I put some fresh gas ⛽️, tapped the carburetor and it finally started

Me too lately... Just need to figure out where the oil filter is in my Powersmart lawn mower 161cc. Great video though.. good job!

Few lucky ones

Prably will shut off after a bit. Need to replace the cheap hydroelectric powernator. Also might be water in fuel system. So check the injectors. It’s a 6hp so there should be 6 injectors total. The others should be under the hood. And the last two under the mower by the blade. Use self propelled spark plugs. To get it going with no problem in the morning use diesel in ur coffee.

Looked like the muffler bearings were kinda dry as well.

Did you ever replace the air filter? Even though you knock some dirt of it out it still looked pretty bad there

No I didn’t, and it’s still running like a champ

Didn't need a new spark plug.....it was black due to a plugged air filter and running too rich. Air filter was partially soaked in oil and should be replaced. Did you check the oil before starting?

It was old gasoline left in mower for years. Empty out after each use helps.

How many times do you keep wanting to try and start that thing? After 3 if it doesn’t kick over try the next solution and go again

I put a squirt of fuel in the spark plug hole, put the spark plug back in. Starts first pull

That's what I do. My mower is a 15 year old basic cheap Briggs and Stratton. First start of each year I pull the spark plug and squirt some Nitro RC fuel on the spark plug then it fires right up.

The little cord thing to pull it to start won’t pull all the way, it’s like it’s locked or something

What do you do when it only runs at full throttle ?

This machine has a choke lever on top of prime bumble . Closes the carburator flap .This is why it's not starting

You can also pour some into the gas tank to clean it

Check if it has "spark" by pulling the spark plug off and grounding the side of the SP as far from the hole as you can . Then crank it. You should see spark on the plug. If it does have spark, then it is definitely your fuel somewhere. If not it is probably the electronic ignition coil control under the flywheel. That's another story.

A shot of starting fluid after cleaning air cleaner should fix it. Provided he drained gas and run it bone dry.

Not good to spray the cleaner directly in the hole where the air filter is it can mess it up and you sprayed way more than what you need in it to

And he was pull starting it far to much,3 tries and move on to the next solution and as for priming it,I think he just took the piss,Pull starting,Filter spray and priming to much PLUS he had Sandles on
