This worked for me:- Win 10 - bottom R/H corner right click on speaker icon - click on "Open sound settings" On sound output- click "Device Properties" under Spatial Sound - select "windows Sonic for Headphones" This worked for me on video playback.

a life saver, this method worked for Just Cause 4 as of today.Rico's and others speech were not audible although other sounds are ok, and changing 7.1 shit to stere fixed the issue.thanks man.

Hello sir can you help me i have this problem when I am using my headphone and even no headphone 1 example is when I am in gmeet, or any meeting software the sound get destroyed where I almost can't hear the sound in the meeting and the music I am listening in youtube or facebook there is sound but it is laggy, in order to fix it I have to search in turn off/on microphone access I turn in off and on and then the sound get back to normal but I have to close or stop the sound in the other tab which is YT of FB and open only the meeting it also happen in game where I can;t use my mic and if I ever use my mic the game fx will be gone can you help me sir

My case is quite opposite. I have dialogue sounds but no sfx and music sounds .please help me out with this case.

OK, so that worked. But what am I missing here? If you change the setting from 5.1 surround to stereo, don't you lose some surround sound "goodness"?

Hey my arctis 7 pro can't be configured in playback devices but I can configure it in steelseries engine however there is no option for solely stereo, I am tech illiterate and don't know how to achieve this.

Its kinda late sorry, but press the G2 key on the headset, that should cycle between stereo and surround sound!

Such a simple fix, shame it's not set to stereo as default on windows 10. Everyone online is talking about uninstall and roll back driver's etc lol.

i've been having trouble with the audio in the witcher 2, it was perfectly fine but for whatever reason when i get to the very end of chapter one the music either randomly cuts out or the wrong music will play at certain scenes, and sometimes certain sound effects won't play, sometimes it'll get so bad there won't be any audio but the music, i've looked everywhere for a fix but i've found absolutly zero information on the bug so this is the only place i could think of where i find a solution, so if anyone knows a fix let me know

I tried this with Final Fantasy 14 online but didn't work :/ I tried it with my behringer audio interface and also with laptop speakers and Creative speakers..i was thinking that maybe trial version do not contain audio files but i am not sure.."Stereo" is only option so i kinda double chosed it but didn't work..i checked the intro scene when you sit and talk with guy who drinks wine and he is normally also talking but i only see him moving his lips and background music..and every sound but not the voice..if someone has idea feel free to help me 👍
