thank youuuuuu! I was struggling with voice recorder for over a month. tip at 8th minute to download the audio driver from manufacturer website (HP for me) worked. My voice wasn't audible after a recent windows update and downloading those drivers finally worked (there were 4 drivers, I just ran them all one by one lol). bless you!

Hello! I want help with something: I did the steps in the video (including the reset), and it worked fine when I reset it, but now it isn't. The mic works when I used my headset, but since it got broken I wanted to use my laptop's mic. When I did the steps, all I could hear when I was testing my mic was static, no actual feedback of my voice, please help me!

My recording devices have been missing for a year now, I've tried everything. And it seems they disappeared on my Laptop and PC at the same time (both with Windows 10). Recording devices are not hidden, not disabled, they are simply nowhere to be found. Updating drivers only make it worse, I have to rollback. It is interesting that ShareX can record sound, but Audacity can't find any microphone, Skype can't either... Help....

Hello I need help. My mic and headphone was working for 3 months until today. They wont work together at the same time. When I restart Windows audio my mic is working and when i start something on my headphones like music or I join discord server my mic stopped working. I see, since you have an audio interface, have you made sure that you have connected both your mic and headset properly to your PC? Because if both are wired, then you have to make sure that you properly connect them with your audio interface. Moreover, in sound settings (sound panel), make sure that the right speakers and mic are selected. I suspect what is happening is that when you listen to something, your mic changes from your external mic to your headset's mic (even if headset has no mic). That is why you are unable to use them together

If you are using realtek, then open its audio panel and configure it so it knows which kind of devices have you connected with pc
