Crazy how much of a difference this makes. Yea it gives batman some cankles but at the same time its better than those long ass lower legs he had. My main gripe with the figure

It would be cool if the Martian manhunter and Batman figures could switch how tall they were. Then the scale would be perfect

To me the Batman thighs look longer than MM, I wonder if you could swap them then repaint.

Blue Beetle and Booster gold taller too. Most figure lines have a habit of getting taller as the line progresses over time. Even high end figures like Hot Toys are larger than the earlier releases. Chances are future figures will be the new taller scale rather than going back to the earlier heights. 😕

Yeah, I think McFarlane's figures are more apparent because they don't do a ton of reuse so each new body they put out gets a little bigger / different proportions and they put out a ton of new bodies each year.

I don't know why they do that but is true, all the new Classifies are taller and like chunkier than the first waves, some old legends are the same height as modern women characters.

Im done with McFarlane he has no since of scale at all spawn,dc all his lines for someone that has made toys for decades there is no reason for it

He is going back to drawing board fixing these, look at the Kyle Rayner fig he did compared to Hal & John. All I want say is just pick and choose, he will fix the problems that we’re having in this line. But I do agree with you on the first part. I’m just picking and choosing or imma wait on people reviews of him to make my final decisions.

He makes figures the way they used to draw them. With longer legs. Doesn't translate well into action figures IMO.

At least you understand the proportions. I try to explain that to people, but I honestly think a lot of collectors are not actually familiar with the art of comic books.

Nice Fix ! McFarlane figures scale so wonky amongst one another, no thought put into it. They are mediocre figs. They need to fix that & also desperately need ab crunch.

You can easily improve ab crunch by drilling/dremelling, xacto cut a bit off the socket.

Do you know of any paint that matches this figure? I was thinking about replacing the legs with shorter ones so I won’t have to risk ruining the figure

I haven't tried to color match it yet 5POA Figure Reviews has a video and paints the black Hush Batman I would think it would be a little lighter than the color he uses

I like the idea of puting the leg further into the boot the body looks outa proportion

I tried it with another batman and it looks pretty good the boots are a bit strange since they come up to the knee and it had to repaint the tops

Possibly legs might look a bit weird but if you have him in a pose or a flight stand it should be alright

I don't mind the height, but what really bothers me is the gap between his shoulders. It just ruins the look in my opinion. Only way to hide it is to add a wired cap to cover his shoulders.

He is taller compared to the rest of the Justice League. He should be about the same height as Superman

The figures doesn't scale with other lines like marvel legends . They dont even scale well with each other actually , in the justice league line the flash is taller than batman

Cancelling my preorder for this figure for being too damn tall. So far, only the new Mr. Freeze, and Riddler look good.

This fix def helped but I'm hoping the knightfall batman that is upcoming will be shorter

Almost every McFarlane figure IV got cannot stand up,the loose ankles are terrible and I snapped off Titan Jokers arm at the elbow when I tried move it, Hush batman I'm having the most trouble with I'm done with the figures

You could try heating it up and flipping the pegs upside down. That might help

Yeah the height issue bugs me but McFarlane DC are by far the easiest to customize so it's kinda fun if you are a customizer but still pretty annoying

why not just try shorten the ball peg connecting to hips in batman and extend the ball peg connecting to hips to superman?

The ankles are a pretty easy spot to fix if I messed up and the lower leg and upper leg should be about the same height so this helped fix that. I didn't want to make Superman taller since he already fits pretty well with the rest of my Justice League

Fix the wrist pegs or a good replacement

Nah, it is still a little to big. I have seen some people swap parts with ML to make them 6inch though.

In my opinion, I think you should just switch the thighs, and just repaint.

I haven’t bought him because of the scale

This is the best one imo but I am partial to the grey/blue costumes. Knightfall might top it though when it comes out.
