Also, ... make sure that the phone number for the phone that seems to be going straight to voice mail is correct. I had entered a wrong number into my contacts list for my wife's iPhone. I could call her back from recent calls, but when I tried to call her from my contacts list, it went straight to an automated voicemail. When I edited the contact list and entered the correct number ..... it worked!

Just got an iPhone 14 plus and when people call me it goes straight to voicemail, never every time, but often. Sometimes I dont even receive a notification. Nothing in this video worked, any ideas?

I tried everything and just did the most recent update for iOS 17.02 and still goes straight to voicemail. I’ll try once more to shut it down power down fully since I just did the update maybe that will work. I’ll keep my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

It worked for one caller who told me my phone was going straight to voicemail when he called, I’ve got to see if the other people who told me the same thing will call me to see if it’s works. I wasn’t getting notifications either. I would like to set up so I won’t get notifications and calls after 11pm (only from close family who may have an emergency or a notification for a weather emergency event) .

I work for Tmobile ATT and Consumer Cellular !! Call your carrier and ask if its a internal porting issue or to reset your data settings and network settings internally aka a internal porting migration issue (even if you never tried to port your number trust me ) good luck yall

My phone was on 'Silence unknown callers" I missed a phone interview because of that!

I am alomst certain my issue stems from my iPhone and my Apple Watch. I have a 10pm-5am Do Not Disturb that both my phone and watch use. I randomly will wake up and go to work and I leave my watch at home and every call I receive goes to voicemail but the second I get home every call comes thru. I would love if there was a DnD that would be the exact same except not send calls straight to VM. I think this is so stupid it does this

My wife phone goes straight to voicemail. But when u try again it goes thru. Now it got to the point where it just goes to voicemail all the time.

So I have a slight problem. My girlfriend has an iphone, meanwhile I have an Android Google Pixel 6. Sometimes she calls me and then she'll text me telling me that it goes straight to voicemail but when she calls someone else, the call goes through. I, on the other hand, don't get a call or even receive a notification of a missed call. (It causes trust issues as at times she's wondering I didn't answer and I think she doesn't believe me at times when I say, I'm the only one not receiving her call when everyone else does). This doesn't happen every single time but happens at times. Could it be something with the "Do not disturb" as well?

I did everything you said but still nothing.

I want to send people directly to voicemail while I’m using my phone. It pisses me off the the phone interrupts what I’m doing. I’ve tried everything. I thought I could do the opposite from this video but no. Phone still allows calls while I’m recording 😡

So annoying phones were so simplistic years ago

@@jacobzianalfaro4038 thank you for saying this. I just did this and I think it did the trick. I’ve been searching forever. I’ll know for sure if it worked later. My phone would ring after I shut it down then restarted it. Then a half hour or so it would not ring and go straight to voicemail, without me even changing any settings.

An iPhone iPhone 15. Brand new phone. Calls automatically go to voicemail. You have to make a call twice before it rings and can be picked up.

Not sure why anyone would want to fix this "problem."

How I fixed: Settings > Phone > Turn off 'Silence Unknown Callers'

I don’t think so..go to settings and adjust the speed of play. Some people fast forward all the videos they watch to save time. I like he’s quick and to the point!

You know, a lot of the people who need help are old, disabled hearing or vision wise, or both and although you are thorough I guess, you go TOO FAST for me to hear the words and TOO FAST for me to see you thumb movements no matter how many times I watch this. Make some adjustments like maybe making a tutorial just for people like me. I happen to know quite a few people who fall into this category and HATE their I-phones!
