My sister iPad is broken

Perfect, worked like a charm... I pressed the up volume and down buttons quickly and then quickly held the power button, and it restarted, which fixed the screen not being responsive. Thank you!!

Hi. This vid seems to have helped many- well done. I have iPad Air 3 and NONE of this excellent video or any other video advice worked for me and the cause may be unique to my device eg hardware. I did not try a ‘factory rest’ as I’m not competent enough to trust my back up skills! I do not know why, but by simply LOCKING SCREEN ROTATION works for my iPad. If anyone is desperate, maybe try it- it’s certainly simple and only a little inconvenient. If anyone knows why this works I would be very interested. Good luck all.

BroMora Bro, You can try doing a DFU Restore your iPad, If it’s not a hardware issue, it can fix the issue.☺️

I was able to dubble tap but not scroll and it was the talk back settings that was causing the problem

@@justjack3075no all I did was just well force restart I googled up how on my laptop and you have to do the button that puts the volume downs first then the other one then just hold the power button for a while if it doesn’t work try again
