Learn how to fix Instagram's incorrect username or username not available issue in this quick and easy guide.
If you're trying to sign in to Instagram and you keep getting an error that it's an incorrect username you will want to try to login using your phone number or email address instead of your username. This will allow you to login without exactly remembering what the username was.
If you're trying to change your username and it says it's not available you will have to add an underscore or a character or letter and try again. Instagram only allows 1 unique username and thus if anyone else on Instagram has used the username you want, you will have to choose another one that is still available. If you feel like the username you're trying to use is not taken then it may be an account that was recently deleted or banned and Instagram is sort of holding that username in limbo where no one can reuse it yet. If that's the case, you may have to just wait a while. Keep in mind, you can only change your username once every 14 days.

guys, it showed up the incorrect user a lot of times, but I found the solution, just install facebook that its connected and then enter and touch the facebook part, just try it

Y'all I've got it. After tons of trials, I tried to first install FB app, logged in FB, restarted the phone, opened IG, and logged in through FB

@@Alaa-lp4fo i email and the Instagram team replied saying " wait for two days (48hrs from the latest login try) without trying to login. Then after 48 hrs login and you should be able to get your account. I'm waiting. It's been 10 hours. Instagram lite can let you in. But don't try to login through any means... Just 48 hours of no activity. Good luck
