Ok my question is how did this just spontaneously happen to my phone and when will it happen again…I missed a super important message that I didn’t get until the next day.

Have you tried to remove your number and reselect your number again ? That worked for me if that helps

Try this as it worked for me ….go to General settings scroll down to Shut Down at the bottom then touch, wait 30 seconds then power back on.

Thank you, for some reason my phone number was unchecked inside the setting where iMessages can be delivered. It was annoying me so much

So in the process of the me clicking the iMessage button I clicked addresses right underneath before the button clicked off and then I selected my phone number again and it worked

i don’t know why but my phone just randomly got rid of the MMS option and won’t let me send messages after the IOS 17 update

After I paid off my phone I could no longer access my iMessage or use

Turning iMessage on and it activates again? That’s how to not a solution. Mine is completely grade out and I cannot access it at all.

I turned iMessage on and off and it’s killed it altogether 😅😅

You checked the address settings under the iMessage ? I had my number unchecked for some reason

@@gloriajuarez7520 - 😫I finally got in touch with Apple….it was an issue on their end. They had to do something in the system to restore iMessaging.

@@noyzemaka1 -👍💡 I called 🍎 Care, my call got forwarded and escalated a few times and finally an “advanced” tech support person told me iMessage was blocked because someone (they have no idea who) reported my number as Spam or something for sending unwanted text messages. That’s crazy because I only send text messages to people I have personally met or personally know. 😭 👍🙏She unblocked the feature and it works fine. 😃
