In this video I teach you how to correct the fisheye effect that you get when you use the go pro wide angle features. Can be used to fix any GoPro distorted footage.

Fix is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
great video. thanks
Thank you very much!
thanks pal!
Excelente. Greetings from Panama
nice, thanks!
dude u fixed a life problem for me THANK YOU!!
If fixing the distortion in Superview crops the video, I might as well just shoot in Wide in the first place.
I'm on MacOS laptop have Adobe Premier Pro but I don't see Lens Distortion effects what you showed in your video. which was 7 years ago, not sure if Adobe Premier Pro changed ? can you explain this to me once more? I try to fix the footages that shot by DJI drone with wide angle lens.
You do NOT lose footage when adjusting for distortion. However, you can lose parts of the frame when doing so.

You lose parts of the FOV, but you never want to show the whole 180degrees of the world to the viewer anyway. The idea behind the fisheye ultrawide lens in GoPro is that your hands are busy and you cannot point the camera to the parts of the scene you want to show - that's why you capture all of the 180degrees view. But then you need to do your homework and do this cropping and correcting afterwards, these tools allow you to not only rectify the fisheye effect but to select what portion of the frame you want to keep as well. So it takes some work to correct the footage the way you want it afterwards vs being able to point out standard view angle camera during shooting the video in real time but I believe it is the right thing to do, to me, uploading raw fisheye footage is super ugly and lazy.
These effects aren't in Adobe Premiere 2023 natively anymore. Anyone know where to find all of these useful presets in 2023?

Yah, I think they want you to use the VR stuff, but I'm not entirely sure why they removed the presets.
nice man
I have been trying to fix my video for hours. I need to do what you did in this video but for a regular camera. I didn't realize the camera was a little tilted and so the view is not even, please helpp 🙏🙏
Does this have presets for fish eye lens
I dont have that function in Premiere pro 2023 somehow?
Why are all the go pro and Dji drone fixes from models that are years and years old. It's 2020 and they still only have GOPRO 4 I a have an 8. Why does adobe not fix this in there new versions. ? Do you know. Great video thanks
What if I'm shooting in 4k super wide? There's no distortion preset for that. Anyone know/can help here?
So I can do the opposite with this preset as well? If I want to achieve the fisheye look

Yes, I imagine you could reverse this and create the fisheye look!
I mean Nikon fish eye
This isn't what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a fix on wide angle stretching (toward the edges of the video footage), not the fisheye distortion.
Took you 2 min to get to the point....poor job!
I wish people will just start correcting their fisheye lens videos before uploading. Uploading raw gopro footage is super lazy to me. Think of it, when was the last time you watched a fisheye lens movie? Would you stand in the theater for 3 hours watching that distorted world? The only time they use fisheye footage in movies is to show how the world looks like through the eyes of some junkie or a drunktard. And you can say well but most of the people just upload 10 minutes videos, yeah but when you research something, whether to buy something or some diy project and you watch 10 videos x 10 minutes it adds up.
you talk too much

Maybe, maybe not. That's an opinion rather than a fact.
