What about if a gasket ridge has a clean split? do we glue it with Cyanoacrylate/superglue? and how do we know this type of gasket seal is called pvc? thanks

Hello, All gaskets are PVC for fridges/Freezers. You can use this super glue yes, this is the type that i use. Any superglue or silicone would probably do though. Need to make sure when you glue to split that you dont compress the seal too much so when you close the door there is gap. Sometimes its best to find something you can put inbetween the split to fill the space then add glue around it. I hope this makes sense! I will try and make a video one day to help future people with this issue.
