Hey, thank you! I just repaired my mirror switch. Looked like in my case it was caused by the factory grease getting dirty and hard, preventing good contact. I cleaned it with electric contact cleaner and compressed air, re-greased it (very lightly) with dielectric grease, and it's works great!

Thanks for the valuable information! It’s great to know that the switch is not a Plastic Pandora’s box of flying springs, brass contacts and tiny detent balls! I’m going to go clean mine up right now! I’m going to scrub my contacts with Q-tips and alcohol and then polish them with a pencil eraser. Fancy dielectric compound, aka petroleum jelly, alias Vaseline. Hell I have even used Vic’s vapo rub in a pinch! Vaseline is also a good leather conditioner because it can inexpensively be used in liberal amounts.

What if i replaced the switch and everything looks clean but I cant even hear the motors doing anything? any ideas? I have a 2002 ford f150 4.6 v8 extended cab

Have you checked your fuses? If they’re good, see if you’re getting power to the switch with a voltmeter.
How it going 🕶 My problem is when I shut the key off my mirrors want to move down after 15 to 30 minutes , and it seems like I am always adjusted them rolling down the road , could this be my problem ?? 🕶

sounds like you might have an internal short in the switch. Disassemble as I show in the video and make sure everything is clean and in order.
mine does not move to right, should I clean the control or it should be replaced ?

That sounds like the controller. If you’re good with your hands and have some dielectric grease laying around, try to clean it. If that doesn’t work, replace it.
Mines won’t move at all you think it’s something with wires or do I just need to replace it like you did

Hard to say, neither mirror works? Checked fuses? Have you checked voltage at the switch? Might simply be the switch. Remove the switch and disassemble as I did in the video and see if you have corrosion.

If you have alot of corrosion, you may want to buy a new switch, otherwise, clean as I did in the video and use dielectric grease.
Why add dielectric grease to the contact points?
