Please never remove this video, you are a true gem!! I woke up to my parent’s oven beeping at 3am, thinking we needed to call a repair man or even replace but I thought someone would maybe have a solution on KZread and long behold i find this video with the same exact model. Thank you soooo much! My parents are on the older side so paying for a new oven or calling someone is out budget, very thankful for people like you.

I wasn't sure how much time you took to clean the panel, however, it took me a long time as I kept cleaning until most of the black was gone. My stove is at least 12 years old so perhaps I was lucky that it didn't need cleaning sooner. Warning: when peeling off the black plastic, some of the black coating can come off. Be gentle. I also fixed this F11 issue today on my Frigidaire LGEF3046TFG, using electrical contact cleaner (WD-40 brand) with cotton swabs. We had the unit since 2019 (4 years) but I suppose the error frequency depends on usage.

Just discovered this video today after spending last two days examining control board and shopping internet for a fair priced control board, but gave up and put everything back together. Strangely enough, the beeping and error code disappeared, but the clock goes blank and will not set and display. Everything else seems to be working properly now, except for the clock display. Can’t explain why the beeping and error code has ceased. I will try your approach to removing the cover and cleaning buttons with alcohol that will hopefully correct the clock display issue. I will post update after doing the cleaning. Much thanks for your video.

Thank you for helping me solve this F11 Error problem. We purchased a new AirFryer during the Black Friday event. Being anxious to try it out, we sat it on our stove and began to cook a couple of dishes. Little did I know the heat that these fryers put out ( and likely some of the fats and oils) and it wasn't long before we saw the F11 Error on the stove display. I thought we had melted the display. I found your video and thought I might as well give it a shot considering a replacement module was $ 500. Following your instructions I was able to get out of this jam with a life lesson (read your user guide - fryer must be at least 10 inches away on all sides). Thanks

Thank you so much - we have a slightly different model, but a 2:30 beep attack woke me up and I found this video trying to figure out what the problem was. The range is 8 months out of a 5 year extended warranty, and I really didn't want to replace it or pay for an expensive repair. Had to go to the hardware store to get a special bit to remove the back panel, but otherwise everything went just like in your video. The hardest part was moving the stove in and out of place, and finding the courage to peel the cover off the panel. But, after cleaning all the buttons on both sides, I put it back together and it worked!

I just watched your video and will tackle this repair tomorrow. You just saved me a thousand bucks as I was going to replace rather than repair. I did have a suggestion I wanted to mention. You said you had done this repair twice so obviously moisture keeps creeping back in. What I'm going to do and you might do on your next repair is apply a thin layer of CRC dielectric grease to the contacts that keep getting corroded. I'm going to use a q-tip and will have to be very careful because this grease could cause problems if it gets on the adhesive that holds the panel on. I use this grease all the time on electrical connections of all types. Thanks again

Awesome video! Our appliance repairman told us to buy a new oven because new control panels for our model are no longer available. Watched the video and my Whirlpool oven now lives to see another day! My only comment is that you have to be careful to peel off the right layer. The first layer I peeled off was the outermost layer and was on top of the contacts that I needed to clean. I then peeled off the next layer and had access to the contacts to clean them. Thanks a lot for taking the time to make the video.

You, rock. 12 months in having this thing, great oven (convection) great range. However, the design of that touch panel is a disaster. Long story short, warranty repair, touch panel, F11 Error. Woke up the other night, midnight, beeping F11. Just got it all clean, both sides of the touch panel, and fiinally cooking dinner. The problem is, the touch panel piece in between the outter layer and the panel electronics, isn’t sealed. Grease leaches in, duh….. Bad design. THANK YOU!!!!!

Well, a day later and my stove is now fixed. The corrosion on mine was on the same dime shaped button terminals. I did the initial cleaning with a Tub O Towels wipe...used my finger so only my fingertip was pressing the cleaning wipe on the section I was cleaning. As you said, I didn't want to do anything to reduce the adhesive since it would be needed to put the panel back on. I then used the swabs with alcohol like you did in your video. Let it dry, then I applied some of the CRC dielectric grease. I only applied a small amount per dime-sized terminal. I also applied a thin coating to the plastic peel-off panel, the dime sized space directly behind the button. Plugged in to check before I put everything back together....worked like a champ. Before I put everything back together I used some of those Tub O Towel wipes to clean the front of the panel. Also pulled the knobs off and cleaned them and the panel face. Those wipes cut through the baked on grease like a hot knife through butter. Looks like a new range. Happy Wife, happy life.
