What about when you click on cellular and the only option you have is transfer from another phone and scan QR code

I’m having that same issue. Both phones says SOS. My phone number is not program in either phones. I can’t call or text with both phones. I message tmobile customer care via online chat but they want to sent me a verification link via phone message. I can’t receive messages, so they can’t help due to fraudulent reason since I can’t verify my identity via phone. I asked could they send the link via email or the chat. They said NO! Cause they are constantly battling fraud activities.I have no choice but to go to the store. I been without a phone for 24 hours

im having this problem right now and im worried turns out i was trying to make an sim card transfer to esim but from my xs max to my new iphone 15 pro max and now both phones are on SOS mode and still couldnt have any luck but im going to an att store tommorow and hopefully this gets resolved☹️

I did the transfer method and everything was going great.. UNTIL It hit a bug. And could not complete the transfer. Now both phones says SOS with no signal. My new phone says” set up cellular “ but can no longer transfer from old phone. My old phone says” the services has been transferred”, but it haven’t. Now I need a QR code and I have to go to the store for that. Can’t do it online because I can’t verify my account cause they send a pin attached to the phone number that I can’t access right now. I can’t call customer service because I have no service. This is some BS

@@miguelperez54877 yes! I went to T- Mobile. They encounter the issue so they knew how to resolve it. They deactivated my old physical sim, reactivated a new sim with my old number. Did a factory reset on the new phone which was ok, didn’t have information on it yet. Did a network reset on old iPhone. She turned on the new phone and update the software in general first. Then transferred everything over. Whole process took 1 hour to complete.

Not. My issue is that the button "add cellular plan" does not appear as an option on my iPhone. Then I can not install an e-sim on it.

Literally same I accidentally skipped that option because I didn’t know the 15 was eSIM only

I do not even have cellular settings, i've only got mobile??? doesn't have any add esim option

I just bought esim in Italy with windtre carrier. It says incompatible with my iphone 14 from the start. while the store says to just wait 24 hrs. wtf

IOS ver 16.5.1 I get errors on my 5 attempts on the cellular menu. Next day I turned off the phone for 5 min. Made another attempt and the menu changed saying add eSIM instead of change to eSIM. I removed the SIM and I still have the bars. Tested calls and text, it worked.

What happens when you scan the qr code and get stuck in an infinite loop of unsupported sim. I have a good sim in from straight talk and tried qr the new google Fi account. But its unsupported for my wifes device. Now i cant get it to quit trying to boot that unsupported sim

Apple should’ve keep the drawer for sun cards if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.. geez 🙄 going through it now and it’s frustrating AF.
