Thanks a lot Man after changing fat32 to NTPF still showing problem but the network solution in step 3 works all my backup done.

I am attempting to upgrade my internal hard drive and ram… I don’t want to lose all my files and stuff so I got a ssd external hard drive to essentially back up my computer on… and then when I’m done upgrading my computer and installing the os I want to put my files back on the main drive… will this work for that?

Yes, using an external SSD to back up your computer before upgrading will work perfectly. Just copy your files onto the external drive and once the upgrade and OS installation are complete, you can transfer them back to the main drive.
