Such a simple but effective idea

I was wondering how to fix that 😂

I run a super thick oring around the barrel in my hicapa, right against the hopup unit. The squish when the outer goes on is a sure sign, and the long range accuracy is halved or better on both x,y axis

I need to do this to my pulsar setup, cause damn that double eagle outer barrel ain’t that good

If you’re going to use tape you have to do it in a spiral down the entire barrel then it works but if you just wrap tape in the same spot then no.

I wrap teflon tape around it, its less permanent and can be adjusted to your needs

Yep u forgot to mentioned not all the outer barrel can accept that tricks because I did that many years ago and using a one piece outer barrel and it’s stop in the middle of the outer barrel because there’s a little ring that held inside of the outer barrel so to do this tricks like u use and shows there is not the one piece outer barrel is extension outer barrel that has a smooth OD and no ring piece that held the inner barrel and also some of aeg and gbb outer barrel have engrave in the end on the outer barrel to install a rubber o ring and that’s why the most companies make those ring piece in the middle of the outer barrel and that’s their mistakes and take note not all outer barrel are the same OD size because nowadays aeg and ggb outer barrel have improved there OD size to make the inner barrel nice and snug but yea good saves there 🤘🏻

I cut them off if I service the barrel or hop up and replace them

Its funny, because with firearms you actually want the barrel to be 100% free-floating, only thing thats mounted/has contact is the chamber, and with airsoft its the complete opposite. I think its the same thing with airsoft, but because the inner barrel is not a beefy steel barrel that cant move at all it ofc moves alot, but I think the right way to do it might be to only stabilize/center it at the end of the muzzle and at the hop up, maybe this is better than tape etc all the way aruond the barrel, just a thought, nice content 😃

@sxmzy6431 I don’t like to use lonex cylinder heads I use the lonex piston heads a lot but the cylinder heads are so hard to get in the cylinders

What i do is double up on the spring tensioner my doesnt move at all

You think you could use tape if you wrap it enough

great idea with the heat shrink! but his will just make it more consistent, "curving" bb's come from off center over hop, no?

This is used for fine tuning and after you have it aligned and want it even better. Tighten up that pattern.

You can use a hairdryer or a heat gun

What size heat shrink is this? I never could quite get the size right
