I’ve tried it on quite a few now and it definitely makes them sharper again. If the mechanism inside is broken then this won’t fIx that, but if they have just gone blunt this works great!

Tried this and I ended up getting a new punch. Doesn't work on all paper punches.

True... some get too far gone and have to go into the recycling. There is also a spray on product that I have been recommended but I forget the name of it 😫 I haven't tried the spray as I wasn't sure it would be 'worth it'. This is a good thing to try (most of us have foil at home already) and I figure nothing ventured nothing gained. It has worked on a lot of my punches.
