@@gustavodelrey1444 true, I went to one, but it’s sometimes hard to ask all the questions to a new Dr. Would be cool to see James do a basic skincare walkthrough, or maybe even have a professional dermatologist some on the channel and talk about what skincare steps should be in your routine! Like a cleanser, toner, exfoliate, ect. Just the basics! 🥰

There’s a lot of dermatologists that have already answered common questions a million times. James is very talented with makeup and has beautiful skin but I can assure you that he won’t be able to provide the skincare tips you want because every skin type is different and that’s not his area of expertise.

my best friends the same way, everytime she wears foundation it’s patchy it rubs off and it looks like she has dry patches everywhere, it won’t stick to her skin, she’s tried tons of foundations by using samples and tons of primers and nothing works

omg james i beg u to do a video where u show and try and review and recommend water based AND silicone based makeup!! im like so lost cause i have no idea what products are good or worth it or anything and i feel like theres less water based stuff so i would love to see what u should buy from both of those types!!

My favorite tip for creasing that was LIFE CHANGING for me is after all my base is done I spray my finger with setting spray (milani original is my fav) and pat it in any of my problematic creasing areas until it dries. Then set with powder. I have ZEROOOO under eye creasing now. (I use wet & wild tinted hydrator, then the kimchi concealer with the Milani and it’s beautiful!!)

Even if it doesn't work for some of us or doesn't solve our specific problem, this is so nice and fun vid to watch and it might help for others ❤ loved this James! Please do a part 2!!

I am a cosmetology student who will be graduating in a couple weeks 🎉 One thing to be noted regarding setting your makeup in place, is that you do not need to drown yourself in setting powder, or what is called "baking". Baking is used for theater, stage makeup, and drag. The excess powder is necessary for the makeup to withstand the sweat and the heat from the bright lights. Using all that powder is not meant to be used on a day to day basis. Of course at the end of the day it is up to the makeup wearer to decide how they want to do their makeup :)

I have super dry skin and I never ever use any powder on my face, any primer or any setting spray, and my makeup lasts the whole day. Not everyone need to set their makeup with powder. Use just the products you need

If I use foundation I always use Fenty beauty that people often say is too dry (I have oily skin) and use a tiny bit of it and SKIP the powder! 🤯 Only thing that works underneath my eyes without creasing like crazy 😁
