What about the other way around? I have a darker face to the neck comparing to my body. When I use light foundation to match my body,it turns greyish. If i darken it down with bronzer it matches my face complexion perfectly but not my body. What should I do? Anyone else experiencing this?

Can I also use something like the NYX liquid illuminatior to my foundation in the darkest shade to make my foundation less ashy?

I'm olive toned, but am cool-olive and pale. Do you know if the nyx foundation mixer in olive works for cool olives too? (It's so difficult to get the right shade of foundation).

Vivian Barrett I think there great. I have a few foundations that I love however the brand don't have my perfect shade so a small drop of the lightening drops work well. But I would only say use them if your foundation is a shade dark for you. If you need more warm then defo try what anchal is using

Hi Anchal. Hope you're ok. Was just wondering if the Olive Foundation mixer adds yellow tones to the foundation? I have L'Oréal True Match foundation in 8W/8D Cappuccino which is a tad light, just how your one was and I need it to be a bit more yellow/warmer? I've used the MUA foundation mixer in Medium Deep and that was horrible. It had a cool undertone and just made my foundation darker and so ashy! Gosh the crap we go through to get a matching foundation... 😥😥

Miss Han try the yellow correcter by L.A girl that's what worked for me. I used the orange to correct my dark circles and the yellow correcter to fix my foundation.

But if you are of a darker warmer skintone like me i usually mix in a little bit of yellow corrector ( i use the la girl one) sometimes. I feel like a white one would make my foundation pinker and foundations like that dont look good on me

Haf Sa yellow tends to brighten so mix in some yellow corrector? If you want a glow mix in an illuminator

You could try using a lighter concealer underneath the eyes and a little bit along the nose. I, personally, color correct and then apply foundation but my face looks dull, undimensional and monotoned if I don't use a lighter concealer on top on those parts of the face. 😊

what if my foundation is too orange.. i want it to have more yellow in it but it turned to be too orange for me..

I had the Maybelline 24 hr stay. In 334 it was too dark orange I went to 312 and it looked so light in the bottle but it was a neutral with warmth it worked perfect I was going to mix it. I bought a yellow correcter in la girl for the 334 foundation it came out yellow tone not orange but still dark good for summer now.

Arzoo Shah you can get a color corrector that’s similar to your skin tone or get an orange corrector for the cosmetic portion. You can also put cucumbers under your eyes every day.

AnchalMUA the nars foundation matches your face not your neck amd because it doesent match your neck but the shade barcelona on your neck aswell

All of my foundations are a bit lighter than my neck.I prefer ashy than orange tbh and many brands create orangey medium shades.

Why the shade 'Olive' instead of 'Warmth' - I went to buy it straight away and then thought 'should I be buying 'warmth' instead?, what's the difference?' Arrgghh, choice paralysis! 🤔😯☺️

Kalina G you can most definitely try warmth if you have an extremely grey foundation, but if you have a foundation that is a tad too light for you (like I did in the video) I find Olive works better. I also find that the "warmth" shade is quite red and you want to be careful with the amount you use x
