If its Jailbroken best thing to do is connect it to the Pc with RCM Clip and go into Hekate. I had an issue where the switch would no power on ,nor show me battery percetange or even when I plug the charger nothing would happen. Change the battery and the problem persisted. I forgot that I had jailbroken and decided to give it one last try to see if I can go into Hekate. Guess what that was the problem and I don't think I had to change battery either. Hopefully this helps some of you.

Took the side bits of and pressed the power button three times, and held. It came on with 68% battery ?! Wth lol

It falled off my desk while charger dead land on screen but it ok since on screw protecter and somehow it fully black screen now ill have to wait and find out how to fix it

Thank you! Why did this happen though? Just a random bug? For optimal battery health try to keep your device between 40-85% people. Try to never let your battery below 30%. Same goes for smartphones and laptops too, that's why nowadays they come with a battery protection mode which stops them from charging past a certain point even if they are connected on the charger.

I have siwitch light it’s won’t show Nintendo switch logo or show the lightning ⚡️ bulb sign by the power when it’s on charge

This is not a universal fix there are other issues that could cause the switch not to turn on or power on i.e the charging chip

It still didnt work. I did a system update but my switch is on full battery. i tried everything but the nintendo switch logo shows up and than its just a black screen and does nothing. i did everything. it still doesn’t work. dislike this video 👎 because no one else can help me

This solution did not fixed mine, i think scratching the charging port again using extra type C cable in and out will fix then blower it with medium heat.

A couple weeks ago I noticed that the battery was draining a little faster than usual. I plugged it into my wall charger so I could play while charging. An hour or so later I got the low battery alert. It will not charge at all with a wall charger, it will only charge in the dock, and it takes it twice as long to charge now. Nothing is working and I think the battery is almost shot.

It's weird because if I use a wall charger the battery icon turns green like it's charging, but there's no power going to it and the charger doesn't even get warm. The battery life is pretty significantly reduced. I can get about 5 or 6 hours out of it playing retro games, but TOTK will suck the battery from 100% to 0% in about 2 and a half hours.

Try replacing the battery maybe battery doesn’t take charge anymore

None of these worked for me my switch is brand new and I set it up and did a system update but when the update happened the screen went white and so I set it to the side and when I picked it up again it wouldn’t turn on could anyone help me with this

Update : I didnt find a solution, the problem I assume was with the battery either failing or being faulty. We still had the recipt from when we bought my oled a month prior. Traded it out for another and this one is working. Hope you all can get yours back up and running, Good Luck 👍

Same thing. I went to play TOTK and when I pressed continue an error screen came up and the system went black. I know it's nothing I did because I take good care of my switch to the point it literally looks brand new
