This is the best video on the internet. Not only did this fix my kick which was double triggering, but the same fix worked for my high hat which would stay closed.

i’ve been looking for something to make my pedals work because i’ve been at the same issue for a year now. this video helped a lot and made them work finally!! sad news for only a day. i’ve been trying again and doing other methods but these damn pedals never work and it stresses me out. is there anything else you’ve tried or know how to make these stupid things work properly..?

Has the point of contact changed, meaning does it still touch the top? or has it moved?-- I am unsure why it would work for one day then suddenly stop-- Has the spring completely worn down?

@@123austinl thats exactly what’s making me go mad how it would work for one day and then never again. lol but yes it does move, i would also put more pieces of paper or move them around to see if it would go back but no man, just that double trigging with the kick

@@123austinl and no i don’t believe the spring is worn down, it’s my hi hat pedal (even know their the same thing) im just been using both because they BOTH do the same thing .-.

Glad it helped! Such a strange fix; but it works!

I’m not sure if mine is acting up but the bass kick is hardly making any sound, it does make sound but it’s so little. Even when I press bass kick button it makes a bigger sound than me kicking it. But the Hi-Hat control is absolutely fine.

I would say give this method a go! See if it fixes it. Wouldn’t harm to try! The solution in the video fixes an electrical problem. Could solve yours as-well.

¡Es un problema eléctrico porque el conector de audio hace contacto cuando no debería hacerlo! ¡El papel funciona como una barrera para evitar que se produzca este contacto eléctrico!
